No, we are not getting tired of the updates! We eagerly await the updates. I'm so glad to hear that Rowdy is doing so well, and that he has progressed to full strength breast milk. He will really thrive now! Have your son and daughter-in-law gotten to take Jillian in, to see Rowdy? I bet she misses him!

No, we are not tired of hearing Rowdys progress! We'd be some pretty awful Aunties if we were! I'm just so glad he's progressed so far so fast. Glad to hear JilliBean is doing well to. Will be glad for them all when they are all under 1 roof.

I'm among the others that are glad to hear promising news about little Rowdy. Keep it coming. I'm also looking forward to more pictures.

Hopefully it won't be long before the whole family is together at home and the babies can get settled in.

Thanks for the update on our Rowdy! Glad he's doing better. I remember 3 years ago with my great-niece Xiola, every little millimeter more milk she took in was a big victory each day.

Rowdy is doing great! They will likely allow him more feedings each day now. Soon he will be breastfeeding too.

Great news and a real cause to celebrate! I'd want to shout every tiny victory from the rooftops. As others said above, keep sharing news with us. Victorious Rowdy! SO pleased to know lil' Jilliebean is doing so well. We'll all be looking for newest pics too!

I've had a bad morning and then I read this and remember about priorities. (sometimes I need a good kick in the butt). This is wonderful news. I am so happy for y'all. Every day will make a difference and the best thing for those babes is mother's milk. Please keep reporting to us.

Dirty_fingernails-I remember little Xiola! I also remember you posted recent pictures of her a while ago.It's amazing the progress these tiny ones can make.
Lindsey-They have not taken Jillian in to see rowdy yet.DDIL is adamant about not taking her into the hospital.She is a PICU nurse and says she knows what kind of germs and stuff float around in there,and after hearing about the outbreak of chickenpox in the hospital where she works in Albuquerque she is even more determined.LOL I really don't know if they would allow her into the NICU anyway.At least not in the area where he is at this time.
Everyone just say a special prayer for Rowdy's bowel to shrink back to it's normal size in a hurry so they can put him back together.I know if that could be done,as well as he is doing otherwise,he could go home a lot sooner than 5-6 weeks.

Just talked to DDIL.Rowdy weighs 4 lbs 2 oz and Jillian weighs 4lbs 13 oz. He will be on full feeds within the next couple of days.They will do the surgery next week sometime,then when he is back on full feeds after the surgery for a couple of weeks he will get out of there! So we are looking at 4 weeks,if not less.I told DDIL that all the KT prayers are working! She said to tell everyone thank you.
