U/S pics just give me goosebumps! I saw all 3 GB's and was in awe, I never had an U/S so I am just sitting here with a silly grin on my face loving this.

I think all that Elvis hair is a lil girl! :)

Awwwww! How exciting! I love to see ultrasound pictures where I can actually SEE what is what. :) I am very excited for you all! Time seems to be going by pretty fast don't you think? Or is it just me? Have you mentioned anything about the new Baby to Grant yet?

Only 3 inches long and already has a pony tail! lol

I just love seeing the ultrasound pictures....I remember the 3-D (or was it 4?) that you had with Grant. Awesome! I will be anxiously waiting for Aug. 25th~~I always wanted to know as soon as possible. :-)

Are you getting some energy back? I know they say each pregnancy is different but it sure does wear you out when you are chasing a 2 year old around too.

Well...thank you very much *said in my best Elvis voice* for sharing! The ultrasounds are so much better today than they were back in the late 80's when I had mine.

I think this is my 6th or 7th ultrasound so far and I'm amazed at the growth and changes with each one. To see it squirming around is so amazing, seeing little fingers and knowing they're about the size of a rice grain is crazy!

What a great ultrasound photo! You can definitely see a thumb and fingers on the baby's right hand.

And I think the baby looks a lot like Grant, too. Folks will certainly know they're siblings!

Loved the U/S. Never had one either, of course my babies are 38 & 39 years old.

Just had a thought....maybe you could flog these over on eBay as "an Elvis wannabe". I mean, if they can sell grilled cheese sandwiches that look like the Virgin Mary, hey why not try? Just joking, of course.

It is amazing to me that at 3 inches, an ultrasound can show such details and you can see your baby. I would never have imagined it 33 years ago when I was pregnant. What a beautiful baby! Hoping you have some of your energy back.

S/he's just beautiful, Steph! Since you're going into the 2nd trimester, does that mean you're officially out of the most dangerous zone? (I understand you remain high risk throughout the pregnancy, don't you? but the most critical period is now over?)

My stepson works for a company that engineers/builds equipment that does 4D imaging, and it's truely amazing.

Wow, great picture. Wish they had had those when I was pg many, many yrs. ago. Makes you anxious to see more doesn't it? Thx. for keeping us aunties posted.

stoneybaloney, once you hit your 2nd trimester, your risk of miscarriage goes significantly down so it's definitely a relief for me to get to this point considering the few losses I've had in the past.

I'm not considered high risk though, which is good. Initially they tend to keep any eye on me more closely than they would a typical patient but mostly because I've had miscarriages and take medications to support the pregnancy in the first trimester. I'll basically be treated like most other pregnant women from this point on.
