I Admit It....I'm an Addict

I am totally addicted to Sudoku. I can't believe I could get so engrossed in them. I even make extra grids so I can do them on a larger scale. Every day when I get the paper I still do my crossword puzzle first but then....Sudoku time!

Yes, I did use the bent spoon. I used the GEII and stacked them together, then let them cure for 24 hours before flipping them and adding the spoon to the back with the E6000. I let that cure for another 24 hours before placing them in the garden. Mine were heavy as well, but as long as you make sure to press each piece to make good contact and let them cure long enough, they should be fine. I have really enjoyed mine, it added a lot to my back yard! Good luck, and be sure to post pics so we can all drool :)

I had to look it up to see if it's the show I was thinking of since I have only seen it a few times. Must have been in a motel where I saw it or something unless it's on broadcast sometime. I don't know. But I enjoyed the show. I worked with private investigators for a while and there's some similarities. Some of their approaches parallel some of my approaches for serving legal process on people trying to duck service. And the stories from the PIs were similar in many ways. I just wondered if I could smell silicone over the tv when his wife would pass by? I can understand why some would want her to take them down, handcuff them and smother them! LOL Tidbit of trivia, former wrestler Dave "The Redneck"/"Dr. D" Shultz was a bounty hunter. He was the one who slapped around the ABC reporter John Stossel for saying professional wrestling was fake.

Hi Marlorena, There were a couple of threads a short while back about Filroses and importing their plants into the U.S.. I got some mixed messages about inspections and a quarantine that are required (or not). I am still totally mixed up, but my impression is that getting Filroses plants into, say, Canada, is a lot easier than into the U.S. Even Pickering in Canada has had recent troubles with U.S. red tape. I should contact Filroses and see what they say, but negative info about importing plant material has dampened my enthusiasm. Thanks so much for your comments, though. I still need that diplomat with the locking attache case, I guess. Diane

They are addictive, aren't they. My usual morning routine is to read the news sections of the newspaper if Bob is asleep. Then work the crossword and Sudoku puzzles. If Bob is awake when the newspaper comes I work the puzzles while he reads the news sections. Either way I love sitting on the back porch with a glass of orange juice and the puzzles. I also like the Cryptogram that is in the Sunday paper.

If one of you would care to tell me how to work that type of puzzle, I would appreciate it. I can work the NY Times crosswords, but not this Sudoku!!!

Kay, our local newspaper has them where on Monday the puzzle is a one star, which means it is super easy. Tuesday is 2 stars and it gets more difficult as the week progresses. The weekend puzzles are 5 star and are supposed to be more difficult. Usually they are, but sometimes they aren't.
If you want to try one, it would be better to start with a one or two star til you get the hang of it, then go for the more difficult ones. They are a lot of fun.
