Sending hugs and good thought for strengh. Just a note you might think about. With the apparent problems to you and others, you might talk to the law enforcement people in your area to put them on alert if needed. That way, if you have call them, they will at least have a heads up and be prepared.

I, too, would let the local police know what is going on. That way if Lee shows up or if Kasey wigs out, they will have a heads-up on it.

Oh Stacey, it hurts to hear that this is the situation. I can't imagine how much this must pain you. I will pray for Kasey and especially those poor babies.

Marie the law enforcement already knows.....so we are good there...and Lee is scared to death of my husband he will not even step on our land.....so we are safe from him.....and the law has been wanting him for 12 yrs and after this last incedent he should be theirs.....the da has it in his hands now and said he is going down....the hard part is seeing Kasey who is not Kasey this cold hard person..she is not my daughter....at all! I just hope that there is a glimmer of her living inside still that remembers how she was raised....
Aww Kat right now it is one hour at a time....B is trying so hard to accept this....(when he and I dated the first time she was 4 and he thought the world of her) now we have what we have and he can't handle it so well then he sees her being harsh with me and before I can say NO this is not how it is this is our house you can do what we say or not he is ready to throw her out....so not only is this hard on Kasey and I but it is totally going to test B and I!!!

Sorry I have nothing to add. But I hope you find help for her in a good place. Not all are the same. But some advice for now. Until you can get her in a home/rehab. Watch her and watch her good bathroom trips phone calls walks. We went through this with my brother-in law. Lets just say they can and will be sneaky. Just keep reminding yourself it is not her but the drug. Sending Prayers for you and your family tonight.

I'm sorry to hear this,Stacy! Are the kids there with you too? Kasey needs you to be firm with her, you need to be able to be firm with her. I'm afraid you may have a long road ahead of you, with mountains and valleys when you least expect them. Prayers for all of you...especially those innocent babies!

Stacey, call a drug abuse hotline. Day or night, those phones are always covered. They should be able to give you some support or direction.

If nothing else, get her to an emergency room. You are not equipped to deal with detoxing a meth head. She's a danger to herself, as well as everyone around her.

I watched my neighbor go through this identical scenario with his 32 year old daughter, just a few weeks ago. You can't trust that she will stay put when the house goes to bed.

Please get help now. You all need it. My heart and my prayers are with all of you.

Oh Stacey, I'm so sorry. Meth is a terrible, disgusting drug that causes major personality changes in it's users. I really hope she sticks with going to rehab and gets herself together for both her and her kids. It's so hard with addictions because people literally do not care at all about things that would normally matter to them.

I am sending good thoughts to you and your family that you all make it through this. Those poor kids have been through so much, and I hope they get the stability they deserve.

Wow-I really feel for you. How much worse can things get???? Is one of you going to be able to be home all of the time? Not only am I scared for all of you, but your household valuables as well. There has to be a place that can handle her now. Call the drug abuse hotline and anywhere you can think of. This is a true emergency.

Watch for personality changes, even very temporary ones. Most will show signs if they are using meth, and may be 'tweaking' right in front of you. It may not last long. Long time results may cause the hair and teeth to fall out.

If she is using then she will need funds to buy, so watch anything that could bring her quick cash.

If she wants to be around her friends, beware. They may help her feed her habit.

A man who knows he is going to jail when caught has little to lose, so he may not mind commiting another crime. You may be able to get a protective order, but keep in mind that a PO is only a piece of paper and a bullet will go right through it. Where it helps is if he is arrested then a violation of the PO is an additional crime and he might be jailed more quickly.

I hope Lee doesn't have friends that read KT, because you not only announced where she was, but announced to him that Tanner had lied to him. Remember, this is a public forum and anyone can read it.

She may not remember how to function in a normal family situation any longer, so don't let her destroy yours. Call every agency you can and try to get her some help. You can't do it yourself.

Just so you know, I have not experienced this myself but have worked in a field where I dealt with users, and my husband is still connected with two programs. Even with excellent programs, and a failure meaning certain jail time, not all addicts will be able to stay clean.

In closing, please remember that no matter how good your children are, you can't take all the credit, and no matter how bad they are, you can't take all the blame. They have freedom to choose for themselves. Sometimes they make bad choices too often that leads them into addiction and they no longer can make a choice. Get her some help at the earliest possible time, and don't beat yourself up. She is an adult, just not a responsible one.

If you have any possessions of value, get them under lock and key or get them out of your house while she's with you. Anything of value is at risk for being stolen and sold for drugs.

If you take any medications, hide them well.
