Does this happen to anyone else

I came to Kitchen Table to see if there were any new posts.

I use my scroll wheel to scan down the list,

so sometimes something will go by faster than I can process it.

I scrolled down past two post titles:

Astronaut Talks About Aliens

Finally Saw Momma Mia

Except the way I read it was:

Astronauts Finally Saw Momma Mia

I had to go back and re-read those two titles.

Kinda like my own game of combine two post titles.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Scrolling too fast to read the whole title

and the post titles start running together?

To answer your question, nope, it doesn't happen to anyone else....only you!!!! LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

"Many manufacturers will require a heat shield between a range and cabinets or ovens and cabinets." Residential kitchen equipment is zero clearance to the sides and back. The sides and back can be directly against flammable surfaces without any fire hazard. This is one of the problems that show up when commercial equipment is used in a residential setting. Most commercial gear is NOT zero clearance, and does not even have to follow rules about oven door temperatures. In a commercial kitchen you are expected to know the doors (and even the door handles if the equipment has been on all day) are hot enough to burn. Insulation only slows the movement of heat, it does not stop it. Turn the oven on high enough for long enough and the cabinets will get warm. Run a self clean cycle and they will get warm even quicker.

I have that at times, day or night. The "spot" in my throat feels like a pin is sticking it, and it happens suddenly, and makes my eyes tear, and I cough. I went to a ENT doc. He put a light down my throat and said it wasn't cancer. Huh? I hadn't even considered that it might be, but I guess that is what some might think of first. Anyway, he told me to get Saline spray and use it as needed. That helped a lot, and after a while I stopped using it. I need to get back on it though, because I'm having it again occasionally. I suggest you see a ENT doctor; yours may not be the same as mine. Good luck. Sue

Hi Pooh,

I don't recall having any mix-ups of titles along the line that you suggest.

I'm currently in n-w NC and planning to visit my niece in Gainesville, GA, for a few days, going over tomorrow (Sunday, July 27) afternoon.

After vsiting my niece and family, I'm planning to be going close enough to Chatanooga to make a visit possible, if you may be available about Thursday or Friday, more likely the latter.

My son may be wanting me to help him with something about then, but if I'm free it would be nice to get together again.

sometimes I do that pooh...it makes for some funny titles...A few years ago someone did a post where you made new titles from titles already posted...just like you did!!

Glad I'm not the only one.

Joyful Ed, we are planning a trip up to Kentucky
some time around then to see our daughter and grandkids.
I don't have the exact dates, only Cindy knows that.
So we won't be here when you drive thru.

I've been having trouble reading some of the billboards, licence plates, etc. ... I love to see the stuff that people put on those vanity plates.

The optometrist tells me that I have cataracts, so am due for surgery in a couple of weeks.

They assure me that I'll be able to "see things more clearly" then.

Which I assume to be a commentary on my eyesight, rather than my good judgement.

"We'll see" ... as the saying goes.

Sorry that you're to be elsewhere, Pooh. Maybe we can meet again sometime: I enjoyed the last one.

Good wishes for the coming days - may they bring the fufillment of some of your dreams ... and some hatching of new ones (worthwhile ones, of course).
