Update on Annie's Ear Piercing and *pictures*

We had a super fun day in the city on Saturday! Annie got her ears pierced, then we had lunch at a fun restaurant called "The Cave", then we went to Toys R Us.

I also checked out several piercing places beforehand. I did lots of reading on the subject. The shop was IMMACULATE (much cleaner than my own house, teehee) and the staff was incredibly welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable. I felt that our decision to go to a place that does piercings was a good one after the lady who did it told us that she had once worked at Ardene's (a place that sells hair accessories, cheap jewelry and does ear piercing). They handed her the ear piercing gun and said "Make sure you line it up." That was the extent of her training there. She said when she decided to do piercing for a living, her health and safety training alone encompassed an entire year. I felt great about that.

Anyway, here are the pictures.

Annie getting it done.

After in the car with a suitable treat from the shop. I told you they were awesome. :)

A better view of her earrings at the restaurant.

All of the kids at the restaurant. Please disregard Claire's chocolate mustache!
