Creepy and crawly? Nay, I say cool and chic! I am loving all things insect inspired, from wallpaper to art. Just as long as my real insect friends stay outside, that is. Unleash your inner entomologist and hop onboard this decor trend, creeping guests out in a good way! — Lani from Mon Petit Chou Chou
Hall space, tall space, small space … there is a bug for any and every corner of your home — as seen here, in this lovely bedroom and hall by Robert Hirsch.
Each of these butterflies from Anthropologie comes framed in jute. It’s a gorgeous rustic touch and saves you from having to frame them on your own.
Why, hello, Moroccan-inspired tile print made up of cicadas. It doesn’t get any cooler than this pattern from Grow House Grow.
This crawly friend would be perfect atop a pile of coffee table books.
Flora and fauna on handmade paper? It’s the perfect combo for wall art.
Cocktails are clearly more delightful when sipped from a butterfly glass, like this beauty from Zara Home.
And then you must serve butterfly cocktails from a beetle tray, naturally!
This crazy-cool tablecloth is made up of images from Maurizio Cattelan’s and Pierpaolo Ferrari’s image-only magazine, Toilet Paper. It’s perfect for all of your barbecue and picnic needs.
Ms. Ward, a delightful pattern from Grow House Grow, is a blend of Georgian silhouettes and oversize insects, as one often finds in nature, of course.
This bee knob is the prettiest guard for your kitchen cabinets and sweets.
Have a ladybug’s luck year-round with this solid bronze door knocker by Michael Healy.
I definitely need help identifying my insect friends, which is where these prints come in. They also make fun decor for the mini entomologist in your life.
Lucite and dragonflies — what a heady combination! This tray is sure to give any room or table in the house a dose of chic.
This entomology shadow box from Anthropologie makes me want to get crafty and make my own version. Maybe I’d spray some scarabs or collect some mercury glass beetles. Options abound!
Keep the real bugs at bay with this Siam canopy. It’s a creative bedroom update that rings in at a mere $40.
Bring some of your garden indoors with this Jardin vase from Pier 1 Imports. Real bugs not included.
Definitely unexpected, most definitely fun, this dragonfly lamp will do just fine!
Maybe this fancy iron butterfly will lure in some of the real thing? Or just a kicking version of Iron Butterfly’s song “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida”?
This is a classic pattern, and for good reason. It’s simple, clean, neutral and fun.
These ladybug kitchen towels can’t help but spread happiness, even to daily household chores.
What garden tea party is complete without a beautiful floral- and insect-inspired teapot?
There’s no need to decorate the cake when you have such a pretty stand! Save yourself some time and invest in a stunning server like this.
Butterflies are easy on the eyes and easy to incorporate, as seen in these curtains used by Somers & Company Interiors.
But don’t limit them to the bedroom, as they make for a pretty tablescape too.
Insects in bed? Why not? I’d gladly cuddle up with some snails if they were this cute.

So make sure what you are buying and from whom---and the idea of "pinning" a LIVE butterfly etc is horrific to me. If you find a deceased one by all means enjoy it's beauty and preserve it.
Also their site is confusing to use---there is a search bar on the L side but when you click on it thinking you are going to BEDROOMS lets say--it takes you to some very specific PART of bedrooms so it looks like they only sell --say---quilts. You have to go BACK and see the ENTIRE list--and it is all micro-seperated. And it moves by itself!
Envious of our Euro friends for their easy access to this place tho!!!!
