Went to Bonefish Monday night before going to see the movie Chef, and had their Ahi tuna. It was delicious and I had the other half of my dinner tonight. Will probably have a bowl of gazpacho later. I love that stuff!

By the way, Chef was a cute movie. A pleasant night of entertainment.

Horrible storm in my part of Ohio at midnight last night. So loud it caused me to jump.

Tonight I had half a coney, a bowl of great northern beans and greek yogurt mixed with fresh fruit... strawberries, blueberries, and cherries. Just nothing quite like fresh fruits.

Everything sounds good! Tonight, we're going out for Chinese. Veggie fried rice and walnut shrimp for me. Kung Pow for DH.

Holy crap, what happened to the wonderful sizzle? 60 up here. UGH. This nonsense will kill any enjoyment of the holiday. Slam the doors and nail the windows shut so it doesn't come inside. Nice simple fried burger w/lettuce-tomato-mayo. Fries, or chips? Kool-Aid. Strawberries w/sugar, maybe on ice cream. Spotted a big choc-almond candy bar for later too.

I saw Chef on sunday and enjoyed it, yes, cute movie.

As for supper, no idea yet what I will have.

Contractor sealed all of the counters today so I stopped by our local gourmet grocery and from their freshly prepared items, picked up spicy grilled salmon and San Francisco style potato salad. They had a special that added a pound of fresh berries for free, so that will be dessert with a dollop of Tahitian Vanilla gelato.

Jasdip, if you do go to see it, and I think you would enjoy it because you like to cook, be sure not to go hungry!

We are having a new recipe tonight. I am tired of all the same thing over and over. But it is Wednesday & Wednesday is usually pasta night\, so I chose Fresh Tomato Shrimp Pasta. It sounds very yummy reading the recipe.Going to have Garlic Toast to finish it off....

It was hot here today! 26úC, very windy and a bit humid. Believe me, 26úC is hot for here! Tomorrow it's supposed to be 28.

I hiked a hilly trail this morning (1 hour), ran to a few stores this afternoon (who knew finding a summer purse would be so hard? Still haven't found one).

I had a big green salad for supper and then walked another hour. I'll sleep well tonight.

Someone mentioned taco pizza last night and I knew there was going to be some version of it tonight. I had the packet of yeast on the counter when Robert came home and he wondered what I was going to make. Believe it or not, he didn't want the pizza version! :-(

So we just had loaded tacos on a soft tortilla. Still tasted pretty good!

One huge green salad with shrimp. Tossed with homemade Ranch Dressing. We use so much less dressing if I drizzle with dressing and toss until just coated, instead of just pouring it over the top of each salad at the table!

A friend dropped off some fresh halibut tonight. I'd spent the afternoon painting patio furniture, had planned on DH making hamburgers on the grill. Instead, he took a piece of the fish to a former neighbor for her dinner, I put the rest in a foil lined baking dish, open, dotted it with butter, S&P, sprinkle of dried dill and put it into a hot oven. Green beans, toast, yogurt with strawberries.
