Hurray for you Patti!! I agree that you deserve having someone come once a month to clean. I love shepherd's pie and just might make it when we get home.

Timm flew home today from Salt Lake City after 5 weeks with us in the motor home. Hope he enjoys sleeping in his own bed tonight.

We are in Beaver Utah and will be having sesame chicken, steamed rice and green beans for dinner.

Totally agree on having someone else do the cleaning! Yea!

Brava, today, for a rotissorie pork loin sandwich with pretty red sliced tomatoes, on fresh wheat bread and a side of caesar salad. Delightful!

Nita....yum!

I grilled a chicken and made potato salad.

That would be so nice to have someone come and clean! We had a long busy day again. I got out to the garden early and started in and then Cheryl came. We worked until noon, had lunch at Amber'sand then she went back at it again. I was out there but can't do a lot when it is so hot. We plan to go at it again in the morning. Really tired this evening so I just had some leftover fried potatoes with a fried egg, some toast and some little yellow cherry tomatoes and a big glass of milk to drink. It is 87 out now.

Nita, I'm sure Timm had a great time with you and Mike. Guess your vacation is almost over. Are you looking forward to being home for a while? Your dinner sounds so good. You plan everything so well before your trips, right down to the meals. Makes it nice so you can enjoy the trip, too!

Glenda, I wish I could find some really good tomatoes. One year when we were going to the mountains for the summer we had the reddest, sweetest tomatoes. They were just beauties! Haven't had any that good since.

Nicole, now that is a nice summer dinner! Wish I could come over :-)

Sue, I'll let you know how it works out with the housekeepers. I'm sure looking forward to it but it seems really odd not to be doing it myself. If I have clean sheets laying on the beds, they will change them. You betcha' I'm doing that! Your Cheryl is a gardening maven! She sure is a big help to you. Soon it'll be time to harvest all that stuff, and you'll be one busy woman!!

Oh your dinner sounds great Patti!!! All of it!
How are you liking your new flooring?

I dipped a boneless/skinless breast in melted butter, garlic, dijon and worcestershire then breaded it. Roasted it alongside carrots, onions and potatoes.

Tilapia, baked potato, and steamed corn filled my plate tonight.

Having a cleaning lady sounds like a smart move to me.

Shirley

baked pork chops, sprinkled with Johnny's Seasoning before hand, scalloped potatoes and green peas. Just finished, and it was YUM!

Jasdip, I make "Jasdip's chicken" a LOT! It's really good. I love the ease of care with the tile. I think I would've liked a lighter shade, but it sure beats that cream-colored carpet!

Shirley, we had tilapia the other night and Harry commented he could eat fish every night. It's good baked with the coating Jasdip described above, too.

Jean, I am having the best mental image of your dinner!! Glad it tasted as good as it sounds.
