I still haven't had the fish and chips I was going to fix Monday. Maybe tomorrow. I thawed out a chuck roast Sunday and used half for husband's Birthday "pasties" request. Forgot about the other half until today. Cubed that baby up and have a big pot of stew simmering for dinner tonight.

We're going to "plank " some salmon, make a crispy salad with ginger dressing, and cook up some spicy brown rice (spicy with a bit of wasabi powder, green onions) . Our neighbor will join us shortly for 'happy hour ' and supper on the patio.

Our viburnum is blooming close to the patio, and smells deee-vine!

Decided to go again, down by the farmer's market. I always go on Saturday's cause of less numbers then.

Totally different meat's served on the line during the week.

Had their boneless, skinless chicken breast and navy beans. Hit the spot.

I had a big buffet lunch, so dinner was a black bean salad w/ tortilla chips, and some hard-boiled eggs on the side. :) I didn't photograph the salad but should have! so pretty... made with what I had, so red & green bell peppers, jalapeno, mixed tropical fruit, and green onions, dressed w/ lime juice. The eggs were made this morning -- the Polish way. A basic color test run :)

Those eggs are works of art! Lovely colors too.

Would someone be so kind as to explain how the hard boiled eggs were done? So pretty!
