Spinach and feta tart, blt salad, and their awesome mini biscuit muffin!

Here's the recipe! It's out of this world good!

Ashley Mac's sour cream biscuits

1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 450 F.
Grease 2 mini muffin tins (24 count size).
Combine all ingredients until well blended.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
.Serve hot.

Welcome back Patti. Glenda did a fine job for you. Once again I have been gone most all day. Had lunch at Culver's, a butter burger, small fries and a small unsweetened iced tea. Before we came home I had Amber swing around Steak and Shake as I had a coupon for a free double Steak Burger. I brought it home and that was my supper with a big glass of milk and a powdered sugar doughnut for dessert. It sure did rain while I sat in the truck in front of the pet shop, lots of wind too. I now have a bunch of goldfish in my pond :)

Glenda, hope you saw my thank you on last night's thread. I've enjoyed reading all the posts and good food KT'ers have been eating. You did such a good job and had so many people post every day, I will turn it over to you if you would like to do it every day. Thanks for posting the sour cream biscuit recipe again. Thought I'd copied/pasted but didn't, but I have it now. Couldn't be much easier, could it?

Sue, I don't know what a butter burger is, but it sure sounds good. You are always so busy! I read your 4th of July menu and, as usual, it sounded delicious! We had beautiful weather in Ft. Wayne Friday. It rained a little Saturday but not enough to dampen our spirits. My sister lives in a condo and they rented the clubhouse/pool for the two days. I love Indiana mornings. The air is so fresh and smells like clover. The grass is so soft to walk in and I'd forgotten the wonderful breezes you get there. Loved being "home" again.

When I go to Ashley Mac's I eat the majority of the blt salad, then slowly eat the remainder with the torte and save the last torte bites with the biscuit. Got my method of eating down pat :o)

Patti, welcome home! Don't you wish that a home-made meal could have magically appeared for you on your return home? Not that left over pizza is bad, mind you....

We're having breakfast for dinner: bacon, eggs sunny side up, whole grain toast, and a fresh fruit combo on the side. I have some tomatoes to slice up, too.

I had beans, brown rice and a plain (no bread) turkey burger. I ate this while watching the tornado warning that was right on top of me. It's been raining/storming for hours. They say that it all should be moving out soon and we'll have dry weather for a while. 16 days straight has been more than enough for me.

Good to have you back. Did you wave over towards Ohio when you went by?

Mary, that steak sure sounds good. So does the tilapia. The pizza was just--leftover pizza. However, it filled the gap. You were sure right about TN's weather. About the time we hit the GA/TN border going up it started raining buckets. That lasted about 30 miles and it cleared a little but still rainy. The last 30 miles it was raining very hard again. Coming home though was beautiful!

Rhizo, I sure do wish that homemade meal could appear. We had breakfast at IHOP yesterday afternoon on the way home. It's always better in the evening to me.

Shirley, the tornado warnings should be over by now where you are. Do you have a basement? I did better than wave at OH--on the way home we took US 30 from Indiana to northern Ohio to Lima, caught the interstate and drove straight down through Cincinnati. Saw lots of the windmill things along US30. I'd never seen them and I was fascinated. I saw on one of the posts your sister had been hospitalized. Sure hope everything is better with her.

Welcome back Patti! I was out late running errands & DH is still out of town. I decided to stop at Chipotle & have a steak burrito bowl. It was very good, but now I'm stuffed!

Susan, I didn't see the thread about your kitty. Sure hope it wasn't what I'm thinking. In any case, hope you feel better tomorrow. Glad you at least had toast.
