Skyped with grand kids, daughter and son in law, calls from friends from WAY back when, nice visiting time with sis on the way to Tulsa, lunch with my Tulsa birthday club friends, lots of talk on the way home, where we took a side trip to my daughters house... and finally back home and kind of collapsed. LOL We sat around and rested, then my sis packed, and in an hour I have to drive her to the airport. All in all, a very successful day. Moni

I study all maps I have along for camping spots listed (usually AAA map, state map I pick up when I ride in, and lately google search). I look in a 40 to 65 mile distance from where I spend the night. Sometimes I also go in to libraries and use their road atlas (way lighter than hauling one). Yes, Raven, state parks are GREAT, but some don't have showers... or bodies of water (stream, lake, river) that one could use to rinse off road grime and sweat.... Plan B is take a cheap motel. ;) edit/adding there is an organization called Warm Showers, which is run on a volunteer basis for cyclists by cyclists that might have a member located where I need one. I am on this list, which then entitles me to stay at another members house, and use the hospitality they offer. Always a warm shower, sometimes just a spot in the back yard to pitch ones tent, often a spare room (the latter is what I offer) and often a meal cooked, or the option to use their kitchen to cook.

Two of those named have enabled messaging via the website. You should first go to your own home page "Your Houzz" and edit your profile to say yes to "send me a message when someone messages me." That will make the "Message" link appear on your home page, when someone want to send YOU a message. Next, start with the last name you listed. Find a comment she's made by searching for her name using the "Search in Gardenweb" feature that appears at the top of the page. When you find a posting, click on the name, then click a second time when the name appears in a popup box. You'll be taken to the user's Gardenweb "Home Page", at the far right hand side at the top, there's a link labeled "Message". Click on that, send a message. If the person monitors the email address they've give to the site, they'll get the message and respond to you the same way. Have a good trip.
