I've had Hellman's with olive oil. I liked it. Thought it would have a strong olive oil flavor but nope just tasted good.

Hellmans is the same as Best Foods ( I think.) Hellmans in the central US, and Best Foods on the West Coast.
I like Miracle Whip light, but noticed that Kraft with olive oil has lots less calories. Will have to try it. Curious, does it have a slight olive oil taste?

Mayo with less calories than Miracle Whip Light? Worth a try for sure.

Sorry, but I didn't like it at all. Used it in pasta salads to get rid of it, but it just wasn't mayonnaise. I got it in a BOGO and donated the other jar when the post office had it's food drive.

Have you tried the one that has olive oil and cracked pepper? That was the first one I bought and Hubs really liked it. When it was almost gone, I went to buy another jar and could only find the one with just olive in it. I'm going to Walmart next week and will look for the one with the pepper. It irritates me that at our mediocre local store, often I buy something new, like it, them when I go back for more,they don't have it.

I tried a flavored Kraft Mayo a while back (think it was garlic and herb). Didn't really like it. I may try the Olive Oil since I assume it's healthier although last time I was at the store I was leaning towards trying Duke's Mayo. Plus, I really don't go through that much of it to worry about calories. I'm all about flavor at this point.

Dukes just seemed to pop up around here; I've heard really good things about it.

I tried Dukes when we were on vacation. I'm a Hellman's fan...Dukes could not compare IMO.

Mayo is mayo to me. I can't tell any difference between brands. BUT, I didn't like the ones with Olive Oil. I use a lot of OO in cooking so it's not like I'm not used to the taste of it. I thought it was kind of "flat" tasting.

carla35, I'm with georgysmom on the Duke's. If you like Hellmans I don't think you'll like Duke's at all.

Just don't put Miracle Whip in front of me, I know the difference between it and Hellmans :o)

yes..and i tried the one with lime...that was sort of a dissapointment..the usual tang hid the lime...i'm using canola this week...with all the hot weather salads have gone thru a jar in less that a month!

dot they just started ads for the cracked pepper one here in detroit..if they have ot when i shop, i'll get some... dh LOVES his pepper!

When I said no Miracle WHip for me, it's cause I grew up with Hellman's. So that's the one that suits MY taste buds. Plus Kraft, but the Kraft was the only one at Panera's and it was really good.

But I'll still with Hellman's.

I tried the Hellman's Olive Oil mayonnaise "dressing". It was so bad I actually called the 800 number on the package and told them.

It doesn't taste of olive oil at all, but it is SWEET. If I wanted SWEET, I'd have bought the freaking Miracle Whip (which will never cross my threshold)!

I understand that it is "dressing" and not mayonnaise. I didn't expect it to taste like mayo. But if I buy "Olive Oil Mayonnaise Dressing", I expect some sort of olive oil flavor, not a sugar flavor.

Yes, I sometimes make my own. It's not at all difficult. Depends on what I want to use it for.

I did buy the olive oil Kraft and liked it but since I am the only one that uses mayo I found as it stayed in the fridge it separated badly and in a short time frame, I had to toss it and went back to the regular Kraft which has never separated that way.
