Colleville, the American cemetary. Not all the Americans who died in France are even buried there. Only about 1/3rd from what I remember our guide saying. They combined all of the smaller cemetaries together some years ago (can't remember when) and gave the families the option of having their loved ones sent home, about 2/3rds did that. There are 9387 Americans laid to rest here. It's just unbelieveable.
