An update; I ordered and received my products within days, packaged very well. Everything smells wonderful. I am now on day three of the detox process and while there is no change in the way my scalp gets flaky, I am amazed at the difference in how my hair behaves. I have very thick, mostly straight hair that has always been what is called coarse in texture. I have always wished my hair was as smooth and flowing as the models you see in the hair commercials! The instructions that came with the hair wash stated not to use any other styling products because that is the buildup that you are trying to remove. So all I have used for three days is the Terressentials hair wash. My hair has never been so soft and manageable. Of course today I am having a bad hair day! But that is because of the weather. It is rainy, windy and I spent over an hour this morning out in the shop making sure all materials went to a job. So I can't blame the products for the mess my hair is today as I usually apply some sort of styling product on my hair. And I am trying to grow out my cut into a longer style so that is part of the problem. If my hair continues to behave and improve, I will most likely keep using these products. Time will tell.

I graduated high school in a class of 160 students back in 1983. The local paper published the honor roll each quarter and 1 or 2 students would have earned all A's for that period; always the same 1 or 2 students who were brilliant and who truly worked their tails off to get perfect A's. Now, almost 30 years later, my mom still subscribes to that same local paper and they still publish the honor roll each quarter. The graduating class each year is still around 160 students, but now, each quarter, a full 10% (at least 16 students if not more) is on the honor roll for straight A's. How could the curriculum have been dumbed down THAT much -- it's a terrible shame and it's not fair to anyone that straight A's have been made so much easier to obtain.

When my SD was going to moms one week, then one week with us, her mom would call her two or three times during the week. Okay, she actually called DH while he was still at work and ask to talk to SD (hmmm knowing SD was not at work with him) and when i asked him why doesn't he call SD on mom's weeks, just to say goodnight or whatever, he'd say that's her time. He didn't want to interrupt it. He was annoyed that BM would call him on his time. Personally, as a SM, I think BM should call her daughter at least every other day (if not every day) since she left. I still find SD in her room crying because she misses her mom and it's been six months. I let her call her mom whenever she wants but she usually gets a voice mail. In my opinion as a mom, I would call my child at least every couple of days. Not just to check up on them, but to let them know I'm thinking about them. I don't think it's as big a deal if it doesn't bother either of them to not talk on the phone. In one case on here, a daughter doesn't want to talk to her mom on the phone but the mom wants to talk to her, in my SD's case, she wants to talk to her mom all the time but her mom is never available. If you have a mom & child that are both happy with the amount of calls, then it doesn't really matter how frequent they are.

Gayle, if shipping wasn't an issue, I think a KT swap would be fun, but doing it in person with local friends is probably easier and wouldn't cost anyone anything. I could probably do one of these a year and in a few years have my entire Christmas in the City village gone from the attic. lol I think one of these swaps is right up some of our alleys, those of us who like to scour yard sales and flea markets and antique malls..... And a great excuse to clean out the cupboards. Another benefit- you'd know that your things are going to your friends, not be marked up and resold somewhere, but to be used and appreciated! (I laugh when I see my stuff from the last yard sale in someone's booth at the antique mall, marked up 700%. I know who she is and when she bought some things from me and then came back the next day to return them, I got so annoyed. She really just wanted a partial refund and to keep what she bought, which I found astounding. I gave her ALL her money back and KEPT the items, I would rather donate the stuff than to play her little game. I finally started telling her that her purchases were final, period. You shouldn't have to say that at a yard sale!) Yeah, Moni- that worked out really well and was fun, too!
