There's a new book out which claims that L. Ron Hubbard is actually Suri's father.

lindakathy - I heard the same thing on the news the other day about this unapproved biography and about the sperm donation. That is what really got me to thinking!

But wasn't she pregnant before the whole Tom/Scientology thing? I thought the baby was Chris Klein's; her boyfriend right up until the Tom thing. I think the timing is off for is to be LRon's.

Hmmm, interesting, naughtykitty. I never thought about that scenario (Chris Klein's).

I've done some reading on L.Ron and don't think he'd be too pleased to have a daughter, since he was a rotten father to his kids and had a low opinion of women...and a not much higher one for children.

Anyone else ever looked into L.Ron's world? Nasty, scary stuff, IMO.

Scientology in itself is very very scary...

I have a friend (since the 6th grade) that she and her husband belonged to it...It was terrible some of the things she told me...

Now many years later if anyone asks her about it ...She just shakes her head saying "Akkk terrible"...and won't go into talking about it at all. I wonder if they were threateded.

I do know the had to give nearly every penny they had to it.

Guess we just can't say what we really think about Scientology.

Could have been the combination of Tom & Nicole together couldn't produce a baby?? Or sometimes female movie stars don't want to get pregnant for fear of losing roles/gaining weight/losing figure etc. Or maybe they were just good people who wanted to adopt? They have 2 adopted children. Who knows? I've heard the LRon Hubbard theory too. If that is true, I really feel for Katie and the world she must be living in???

I've always thought Tom is sterile...never thought that Suri was Chris Klein's they had been broke up for too long for it to have been his baby...

It'll be interesting to see how this story go's!

I think Suri looks just like Tom. Why does everything have to be a conspiracy? FWIW, I think he's jerk, but still...JMO.

I think Suri looks like both Tom and Katie. A very cute baby. Lets hope they take good care of her and raise her with lots of love.

(There are a bazillion different religions on the planet. I don't understand the attraction for quite a few of them, but if they didn't have some benefit to their members I guess they wouldn't exist for long.)

I don't think she "looks like" Cruise.

We have several nieces and nephews who are the spitting image of my hubs, but hubs isn't their father -- their fathers are my husband's brothers. But if you put these kids in a room with my hubs and his brothers and asked folks to choose the father of each of the kids, every person would say it was my hubs. So just because Suri bears some resemblance to Tom Cruise, it doesn't mean that he's her biological father.

Before he was married to Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise was married for several years to Mimi Rogers. Although they wanted to have children, Mimi never could get pregnant, either.

It has long been rumored that Tom Cruise is sterile; and I think that's why there was so much shock that Katie Holmes turned up pregnant - especially before they were married.

Whoever the father is I hope the little girl grows up happy...not sure how these kinds of rumors/stories will effect her later when she hears about them, just hope she's a strong person who can handle all that comes her way or we could see another Britney! I'd hate to live like they do....I prefer my quiet life!

I have heard so much since that child was born about how "beautiful" she is,that she is the "most beautiful child ever","a photographer's dream",blah,blah,blah! She is a pretty little girl that just happens to be the child of two very famous people who are constantly in the limelight.I don't think she is exceptionally beautiful.I have seen a few babies (some even close friends and family) just as pretty,if not prettier.We will see when she is older if her "beauty" is more than skin deep.LOL
By the way,I think she looks somewhat like Katie and I can also see a little of Tom there too,but what do I know? LOL

People put so much garbage in print for a buck that there is no point believing any of it. The won't even be published in Britain because they have a higher standard for the truth when it comes to books (not magazines necessarily and papers) and demand proof. They guy didn't talk to anyone who knows. He just speculated and fabricated as much as he could. That doesn't mean the whole book is false since some things can be based on logical deduction. I read that he didn't actually say it in the book but alluded to it, suggesting that church members suspect Hubbard to be the father. Suri looks so much like her mother (her eyes and lips) that I can't see questioning Cruise's paternity. I'm thinking she has the shape of his face and very much his chin, but it can't be certain until she loses the baby fat in another year or two. Besides, wasn't that man blonde?

I can care less. However, if you look at the photo, Suri has Tom's eyes. Who really knows what the story is? I remember the rumor that Nicole didn't want to ruin her figure so that's why they adopted, and my sister's friend, who works with celebrities, swore Tom was gay. There have been so many rumors about these people that no one really knows.

The most beautiful baby I've ever seen is Brad Pitts baby.
