Some songs do... My dad passed away in 1985 and I first heard the song 'Daddy's Hands' shortly after that. I couldn't hear it for years without crying, and it can still bring a tear once in a while.

Yes the song Silver Wings, it was really popular when my DH went to Thailand. I stood in the airport watching as the last little silver speck of his airplane disappeared. The song was on the car radio as I left the airport.

There are several songs that always seem to "get" me. One is Country Bumpkin (the song, not our KT friend). Another one is "One More Day" by Diamond Rio. That was playing on the radio the day after my first best furry buddy, the original Stoney Baloney, died. I would've given anything for one more day with him.

Kenny Chesney's "Who You'd Be Today" song starts the waterworks. It was released not long before I lost my son.

I lost both of my parents in the last 3 years. It would have to be LIVIN ON LOVE by Alan Jackson. it descibes my parent perfectly. That and there is an old song not played very much by Mel McDaniels GOD MADE LOVE it wa the favorite song.

I cry easy--happy tears, sad tears, when I get upset--my kids always keep kleenex around.

Not a big Presley fan but this one song gets to me every time.

I cry at the death of a loved one or watching the birth of a baby - the hug of a loved, especially my grandkiddos, brings tears to my eyes.

I cry when one of my babies is hurting, at the sight or sound of a frightened or hurt animal, Mariah Carey's version of the song 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'.

Geeze, I guess I am very tender-hearted but stoic - it takes a lot to make me cry, except for those times as mentioned above.

Since my husband's death almost 4 years ago, I rarily listen to music - it brings me to tears most of the time.

The lyrics to Second Chance by Shinedown gets me everytime I hear it because it reminds me of when my son was leaving for Iraq last year and that tore me apart.

Sweet Mama by Van Zant reminds me of my Mom and Tears In Heaven reminds me of my Dad.

Yes, there sure is.... Back when I was living in Massachusetts... I became involved with a terrific fellow, but he had a vice that I just could not deal with, (alcohol). He wasn't ready to let go of the bottle in order for us to proceed with our wedding, so I broke off the engagement. He would call me every year on my birthday and at Christmas, even after I married Bob. (His name was Bob also).. He never married, and he told me every year that he never would because I was who he wanted to be married to.

He died on July 26, 1980, just a short while after George Jones came out with "He stopped loving her today". I didn't attend the funeral, but a good mutual friend of ours did, and he said that another fellow sang that song at the graveside service... which was his last request just before he passed. So, yes.... when I hear that song, it does bring tears to my eyes...and rips at my heart. Because at one time, I truly did love that man, and would have spent my life with him willingly if only he would have put down the bottle... He died of cirrosis of the liver....

What devastation addiction can cause in not only our own lives, but the lives of folks who love us.

I find that I tear up more easily in recent years.

There's a story called "The Shepherd", told by a famous CBC broadcaster, now deceased, every Christmas eve on a show on CBC Radio One called "As It Happens", of a young English airman flying fighter jet home to England from Germany on Christmas Eve, directional stuff goes out, he tries to raise an English military airport, foggy, radio goes out, he gets low on fuel, flies in triangles to notify he's in danger.

An old Mosquito, World War II unarmoured craft appears at his wingtip, guides him down to unused airport, lights go on, as security guard hears the engines.

No one but the guard there, he rustles up some grub, the newcomer remarks on a pic. of a guy by his Mosquito - the batman regarded him highly: he'd fly that fast plane as pathfinder, laying down flares for the bombers, come back and refuel, then go out again to shepherd home the limping bombers that had been shot up.

The new comer says that he guess that he's still at it - oh, no - he went out Christmas Eve, l944, never returned.

It makes me cry every year - is doing it now.

As it Happens has been going for over 20 years, an hour and a half, five evenigs weekly at supper hour, calls people all over the world associated with issues in the news at the time. You may have heard it on occasion on NPR, as I think that they carry it, at times, at least.

Pretty much anything to do with fallen soldiers. I was reading DH the story about what a soldier did to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, and I was sobbing as I was telling him about it. He thinks I'm nuts. And I'm not a "cryer" at all. Just some things get to me. The NY Times would post "soldiers' last letters" and I'd be at my desk at work with tears streaming down my face.

Add me to the list of criers. I cry at happy things, sad things, when I am surprised, when other people cry, when my kids get their hearts broken...certain songs...when I see military people in their uniforms...the National Anthem...the flag in a parade...sad movies...happy movies...it goes on and on. The worst one is when I am mad I cry. I hate that.

I cry at weddings. Any and every wedding. As soon as I sit down the tears start. I'm usually blubbering by the time they kiss.

Don't ever invite me to a wedding.

...and this may seem frivolous in light of others' saddnesses, I certainly don't mean for it too, but I can't even think of the day I may not have my Harry next to me. My chest tightens, the tears flow...

I've gotten to the point I can't open posts if they're about someone losing a beloved pet. I feel for them; I care for them...but I can not read the posts. And now I'm blubbering again.

I cannot watch Dumbo without crying, especially when the immprisoned mother rocks Dumbo in her trunk through the prison door.

my tears today were hearing the results of my bone density test.

Nothing changed. Still in the osteopenia category. My weight work out machine is taken apart in the garage.

My free weights were also in the garage, but are in the car now, so I can have them at my "temporary" house.

Hadn't used either since I got back from my trip.

Need to get started again.

Reading about or seeing any animal abuse or a hurt animal will make me cry. I avoid all the animal movies for that reason.

Songs can make me cry too... it can be any song depending on what is going on in my life at the time.

To Kill a Mockingbird. In the book or viewing the movie, after the verdict is announced when Atticus walks down the courtroom aisle all the negroes stand in respect. It can make me cry just now thinking about it.

A few weeks ago our church youth group was here watching a movie called LETTERS TO GOD. I can't watch it with out blubbering. Most of the kids were blubbering too. I think we went through two kleenex boxes that night.
Most weddings, funerals, graduations have me tearing up.
