Woke up Friday morning (today) feeling much better. I guess I'm very lucky, the first year I was getting dialysis I had a lot of problems, an awful lot of fatigue. I would come home and take a five hour nap. Plus bad pain in the arm where my dialysis fistula is located. Somehow my body has adjusted to dialysis and I now feel pretty good between treatments. I am worried so about my Mother. I've had her all my life, for 58 years. She's always been there to listen or visit with. I know my siblings are taking good care of her, she is home in her own house. I hope she'll have a gentle passing. And I am certain she will meet up with my Dad, her beloved "Fran". She was the only one who called him that. His real name was Francis, everyone else called him "Frank." And with Vic, I will rely on the Social Worker for whatever help is available. I did call the MS Society, I got a pleasant but pretty clueless woiman. She told me to call his main neurologist, who happens to be on vacation. I will try calling MS ssoc next week.

Feeling a little better today, Monday. I've spoken with my siblings and they understand I can't come for a visit right now, my husband is in a Rehab Hospital himself due to an exacerbation of Mulktiple Sclerosis. My brother is the Executor of the Estate. My two sisters have volunteered to help with the sorting of her belongings. I wrote my brother Bill "Billy" a long letter, thanking him for taking care of Mom for the last years since Dad died , for visiting her every day when she was hospitalized, for getting her hospice at home, and told him I will not challenge the will. I trust him, we were best pals growing up, and I know he'll do right for all of us. Mom wanted no wake or funeral; we will spread her ashes when the summer comes. Thank you for all your responses. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU EVERYONE for your hugs and words of encouragement. I'm feeling much better today. My dog is fine today-I think she has a delicate stomach. I try to feed her only dog food, and then in small amounts, never cold. I plan to go with my daughter to her next doctor appointment and shee what can be done. Maybe a referral to a gastroenterologist? I have to explain about the 640 chairs. It's kind of a funny story. Dad worked as a janitor the last ten years of his working life. He worked in Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, a place where The Philharmonic Orchestra , rock groups, and other musicians would play concerts. Part of his job was to clean up after shows. He would come home with hats, scarves, pieces of jewelry (nothing expensive), sunglasses, even combs and brushes. Barry Manilow played there once and left unopened bottles of wine in his dressing room so Dad brought them home. Mom would make him throw out the combs and brushes, but she let him keep most of the stuff. From what I could figure, the Music Hall occasionally threw old chairs away, so Dad must have taken them out of the garbage. Why, I don't know, but he grew up in the Great Depression, where you never threw anything "good" out because it might come in handy someday. Dad passed in 1998 and Mom never got around to cleaning out his stuff. So when she died this January it fell to my brother to get rid of everything. I know my brother tried to donate the chairs but they were bent or rusty, so no one would take them. Just like all the expired food items he found in her cupboards. Would you like some General Foods International Coffee from 1991?

Why is it that things always seem to go wrong in bunches? I'm so sorry you had a bad day. That sounds like a pretty tender area to get a bee sting. I hope the glasses turn up and the new doctor is a winner.
