Yeah - these young bucks are inclined to put covers over the grills of their muscle cars to preserve the paint (and maybe to keep it from peeling off, considering the speed at which some of them drive) ... that they tend to call "bras" ... which leave room for the twin headlamps to shine through!

While I don't claim to be an expert when it comes to getting off on bras ...

... you should see the unusual and innovative use of men's briefs that someone (was it Lindy Lou-who?) pictured over on "ole joyful's current dilemma" three or four days ago.

My old computer is hugely slow (in addition to dialup) and I'm in a hurry, or I'd look up a link.

Though I've seen quite a few things in life ... I'd never seen the like of that!

It's about 3/4 of the way down a long thread - but you might find various other parts of it interesting (if not hugely instructive to the general public).

Have yourselves a varied, and interesting summer weekend ... especially those of you Canadians who are celebrating Civic Holiday on Monday.

ole joyful.

Yes...But only to a couple to see what would happen, before I would ever hit all of them. To be safe, to make sure.. Before I even had a chance to see the reults of the couple I did treat, ALL my plants have darkened up without the iron or being fertilized in the past three weeks along with the couple that did get iron... I think your comment about the the lack of sun is dead on. Plenty of light or diffused sun in this case, but not direct hot sun.. Who knows. Like I said, seems to me that the only one that has enjoyed FULL sun, has kept dark green leaves, and produced well is the grapefruit I have..lol The leaves will probably lighten up once the hot sun blazes upon them. No worries now...Just nature taking its course.. Whatever it is, this is the fact....dark green, loads of blossoms, and fruit to all my plants without the everyday full hot sun, added fertilizers or iron for the past 3 weeks..;-) Think I will find a way to give most my plants morning and late afternoon sun. My gardenias seems to like it too.. By the way, I hope you are well jag...Thanks for everything you have help me and us with..:-)

(jaw on floor) Thanks for showing me something new today, Jeff! Me: "So... I'm looking for a bonsai shaped like an elephant...?..." Guy in Bali: "How many you want?" Gill, thanks for including your link, those are hilarious! I'd take the big lizard for sure. Suiseki, now there's a hobby I don't have time for. I can just see myself scrutinizing every rock I come across, no matter where I go, for the rest of my life. Pretty awesome though. Maybe I'll just make one... (ominous music)

Thanks for clarifying it Jim!! Hmm,.. Atleast now I can forget worrying about its growth! One more question: I find myself completely clueless taking care of the plant,as the fall and there after winter are approaching. Will keeping it indoors in our apartment under fluorescent light good enough? Should I prune it?? I mean remove all the leaves!!?? The plant at the moment has pretty green leaves, though a small one(1.5ft high) with some flowers too!It would be great if you and others give me some idea. Thanks in advance.

Tim, I do not have a lot of woods near my house or very many bushes. I live on a golf course with the cart path behind a little beyond my yard. I have about an acre which includes front and back. The box the wren got in is not near any bushes, but oak tree branches hang over it and not near the golf course. That box was there when we bought the house and when we cleaned out that nesting box, there was a remnant of a nest, think it was a bluebird nest made of pine needles. There are two eggs in the other nesting box and it is a few feet away from a small dogwood and about 8 feet from another tree and close to the cart path (towards the back of the yard). I thought I read somewhere that the tree branches could help when the little blues are learning to fly. I have one more box on the other side of the yard but more out in the open. I have no takers of that box yet. I will keep checking the nest with the two eggs in it. Hopefully no wren will bother it. I only saw a small brown bird briefly twice. I have I no idea what kind it was. I have a flock of titmouse that come by every morning then they leave. I also have a few mockingbirds that think they own everything. I will remove the old nest and see what happens. I have thought about getting a wren guard, but haven't yet. I am afraid it will drive away the blues.

I think those are pretty much tops and not actual 'bras'. Don't think you could wear a tee shirt with any of those. Interesting, though.

Those aren't really "bras" as in "undergarments". Those look like costumes made for strippers. Costumes usually have distinctive theme and are custom made but can be purchased from catalogs that specialize in costumes.
