OMG, don't look, please don't look, lol!!

Pretty neat. Other than clothes there's not much there.....spare toilet tissue and facial tissues, the leaf to my dining room table and an easel propped up against the wall.

Pretty neat, but I need something to maximize the floor space for shoes and boots.

In mine, you would find my clothes all neatly hung on hangers. On the floor is a huge pile of shoes and flip-flops, and the top shelf is crammed with about a dozen purses (and I usually use the same one all summer, then use a different one all winter). So I guess I would have to classify my closet as a mixture of messy and neat.

Neat but packed.

A closet full of my clothes, my DH and DS's clothes. All neatly hung on white hangers, with everything facing the same way. They shoes on the floor are neatly lined up. There are a couple of archery bows in there, along with a filing cabinet. A couple of bins hold extra bedding and pillows. My DS and I are OCD. LOL

And the ironing board is in there too. It is a walk-in, the size of a small room. I suppose you could get a twin bed in there with a dresser.

Inbetween neat and messy!

It was neat about a month ago, but is getting a little messy again. I need a bigger closet.

What's a closet? I have a tiny under the stair closet with only enough room to hang our clothes. On the floor extra blankets and a basket for shoes. Kind of in between messy and neat. Although it looks messy everything is crammed in its place.

I have two closets in my bedroom. In my Summer closet are guess what?. . .Summer clothes, all on hangers, and on the top shelf are two blankets, each in a plastic bag.

In my Winter closet are coats, jackets and some Winter clothes, (which I don't have many of) and bath robes (which I seem to have too many of) on hangers.

I also keep my Orick vacuum there, and a box of shoes on the floor. On the shelf are sheets, two pillows and 2 throws.

I just a couple weeks ago cleaned out the closets and rearranged some things.

Neat; but (heavy sigh) totally uninspiring. I have a shelving system I hope to install today to maximize some of the space.

I group everything by type, shirts, slacks, work clothes, etc. and face the hangers the same way.

My house only has three closets, two of which are very small. The larger closet in my bedroom has clothes neatly hung but stuff piled on the floor. Some coats are hung on hooks in the stairway to the basement. I also have plastic bins that hold out of season clothes. Old houses (mine was built in '33) didn't have much closet space.

My closets are all neat and orderly.

Mine is like socks, Neat but packed.

DH and I share a very small closet. His clothes are on the left and mine are on the right. All on white hangers. The one shelf above the clothes has my boys' baby books, a few stuffed animals that the boys have won for me, 2 photo albums - one for my post card collection and one with pictures of all of my friends from school. And then there are 3 black photo boxes stacked on top of each other filled with all of our family pictures, all of them labeled and in order by date. And on the floor is a basket for dirty clothes.

I have an average size walk-in closet. It is neat and organized according to type of item. I am a shoe hog, but each pair has their own their own clear plastic box, all of which are up on shelves. My master bedroom has 4 drawers built in so we do not have a chest or dresser in there. My husband and I each have 2 of the drawers. Since this does not accomodate much, I have removed a lower rod in my closet and put in 2 sets of those stacked drawers on rollers.

It's neat.

Mine is kind of in between at the moment...Usually I like things pretty neat but you learn to live with a little less neatness when you live with constant doctors appointments and the issues that cancer dump in your lap...

DH and I share a closet in the MBR. All my clothes (that fit) are on plastic hangers and facing all the same way. My shelves have a lot of stuff up there but it is neat. I have a box of winter clothes, box of old trains and some huge photo frames along with other items on the floor but it is all neat. Now, for DH forget it. Clothes hung every which way on wire hangers, empty hangers poking out all over the place mixed in with his clothes. An old heavy safe on the floor, which he cannot open (he lost the keys). Miscellanous junk all over the place.

The hanging part is neat and tidy ... but the floor is pretty messy with things I can't wear anymore.

Everything is hung according to type on lilac velvet hangers. Everything faces the same way. The shelves hold folded sweaters and sweatshirts. All my shoes are on the floor in clear plastic see-thru boxes. And then I woke up. LOL Don't even ask!

my closet contains my summer clothes right now, tops & blouses to the right (hung according to their color) and slacks, capris to the left. Shoes are on the floor, kind of neatly. Upper shelves hold purses, empty boxes, my kids' baby books.

Usually ok because I have a couple do my floors, so I have to keep it neat so they can vacuum in there.

Let's just say I won't be inviting you over. LOL

My clothes are hung up on plastic hanger all going the same
way but the floor is clutter with shoes and other things.

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

Neat,all things are hung according to length,pants,shirt,dresses etc.Shoes are in marked boxes on shelf,and the top shelf holds extra comfortors,blankets etc in those vacuum bags.

I have been gone from home for 3weeks now, and I bet, it still looks the same. Clothes hung, shoes on shelf, step stool on the floor and sweaters and jeans folded on the shelves. :)

It would be neat, but thank heaven's you didn't look in prior to a year ago! When I ordered new carpet for my bedroom I had to take all the stuff out of my walk-in closet. Horrors! I even had cobwebs in the corner. I made a quick decision to paint it while it was empty and I purged, purged, purged! Only about half the stuff returned.

My shoe situation wasn't out of control. I only have about 8 pair and hubby has even less! I can't believe when I hear that some people have over a hundred pair of shoes! Where do they put them, and more importantly, when do they find the time to wear them ALL?

Mine was very neat... did a total clean, and sort about a year ago, but bad habits return and need to do it again...Too many clothes that I don't wear taking up too much needed space... I heard that we wear 20%of our clothes 80% of the time... When I did the sort about a year ago I placed my hanging clothes according to color, all the whites, then yellow, orange , pink, etc, etc.. I do find it much easier to find my clothes this way... okay now I am inspired to declutter again.. it is nice when you open the closet.. and all is in place... sets the tone for the day...

Neat. I have 2 large closets and a shoe closet. I finally have room to separate my pants from my tops.

Very neat now, matching hangers, closet system, after youngest moved out I turned his room into an additional closet so I wouldn't have to get rid of anything! So, dresses, out of season clothes and some shoes are in portable closets in that room, everything else is in the bedroom closet. Yes, I have too much, I will get help one day!

If you really are quick, you are welcome to come now to take a look. I spent the better part of last week purging my closet of clothes that I no longer will ever wear due to weight loss. I have donated most of those larger items to the local "Clothes Closet" run by several churches. I don't have a lot of clothes right now because I am sort of in between sizes, and don't want to buy anymore until I lose more. My shoes are all up off the floor and on shelves. Purses on the top shelf. But ya better hurry cuz next week it might be a mess again.

Gosh I don't even have a closet. I do have a few things hanging in my DGD room, but took the closet out of my office to make room for a desk.
DH is a clothes hog, and has our bedroom closet filled to the brim with his clothes.
I could put every thing I own in one suitcase.
Never have I had much of a clothing need, other than to keep warm. Now reading this, it sounds really odd that I have so little, but it is totally ok with me.
I do get a big kick out of what my kids wear, really cute stuff.

Pretty neat--it would look better if we didn't have to store the giant size TP, napkins and tissues we get from Sam's. And it'd look really, really nice if I'd get rid of a bunch of shoes I don't wear.
