Someone started a thread on another message board that asked the members to tell us what's happening right now. It is especially fun to make the statements in the third person. I'll begin:

Lites is getting ready for her mini-vacation trip to Chicago with great anticipation.

Lites is calming down following a big 'ole family brew-ha-ha over a spoiled brat teenager.

Lites would like to smack aforementioned teenaged up side the head!

So -- what's your status??

Barbara is putting the finishing touches on the final plans for our BSC all-grade reunion from Tuesday to Sunday of next week.

Barbara will be glad when August 4th comes and the Reunion does not consume every one of her waking hours. However, the bathroom renovation will take over from the Reunion!

Barbara is looking forward to a bit of R and R tomorrow at her cousin's 65th birthday party. Barbara will cherish the hour's quiet drive out there and back.

Now Barbara needs to go get some lunch.

Hey Joe...quite a selection..Very nice plants before the holidays...:) Is your Holly true Holly or common name? Leaves resemble Holly, but thought Holly had white blooms??? Very nice haul. I passed a Good Will twice in two weeks..must have recently opened. Considered going inside, but was in a hurry so didn't get to check their products. Do they sell large pots? 10" plus... Ohio..hmm, there are a few Ebay sellers in Ohio, but can't think of any nurseries.. There is one nursery, World Plants, but can't recall if they're located in OH....www.worldplants.com I'm certain some of my plants came from Ohio, but can't think of any particular place at the moment. Can't even recall which city. Are you saying, you will not order plants via mail before the holidays, but will buy locally? Turkey Days? What about Christmas and New Year's Day? lol Very few nurseries ship after October, and those who do want to get rid of 2012's etc, stock. Remainders are usually discounted. Joe, did you know, once you joined GW, you become one of us? Pods who grow pods..lol, j/k...Happy Halloween. Actually, most plants prefer cool temps to hot, but that depends on how cold. If you start seeing ice on the walls, it's too cold..Then YOU better find a warmer place..lol. Joe, you were very heroic rescuing the little bird..Thank goodness. The neighbors across the street, husband and wife, rang my bell, asking ME to shoo a bird off their front porch..A Blue Jay. I was totally embarrassed for them. Two adult people asking a neighbor to shoo away a little bird! Good, ol' college days...lol.. About plastic..although our windows are semi-new, they leak air. During winter, when temps are -2, a slight draft seeps in..plants on the sills are cold..The cold is a horror to succulents. So, this year, I placed clear plastic on the sills. It might not be 100% effective, but I had to try something. Place a hand near the sill, it's very breezy. They say it's because the house is settling, which may or may not be the exact truth. IMO, the safest windows are the old-fashioned types..With a screen/storm window. Is that the name? lol..Haven't thought about the name in a long time. Two windows opposed to thin, 'gas' panes. New windows are a lot less work, I'll give them that..no painting, and easy to open and close, but new windows are nowhere as protective as the old types. Just my opinion. That's the reason plastic now goes on each window. Nope, can't afford a larger gh..lol.. Believe me, my dream is to design my own house w/attached solarium. Unless I win the lottery................. Next year, if all goes well, I 'might' sell some plants on Ebay..Agaves, 'pups will stay,' 2 Pachypodiums and a huge Pandanus. The Pandanus/Screw Pine has outgrown space. I detest this house w/small rooms...even if I didn't have plants, the rooms are tiny. Thank goodess there's a third bedroom, which is now a plant room..lol. I love Geraniums...what type did you get? This probably sort of started long before it hit the fan. It has been awhile now, I forget which exact variety started the arguments. It believe it was one of the Portuguese figs. Someone started a post wanting to share some extra cuttings(for free) which I think came from a source that others doubted the authenticity of. People jumped on the subject because if you are going to call something a name, it better be what it is being represented as or it will just cause further confusion and problems down the line as it is being passed around. Others felt that they didn't really care what it was called as long as it was a good fig. But that will just pollute fig nomenclature further...and this went on and on. The subject of newbies was sort of somehow partially thrown in the mix. Tempers got hot, people tried to change the subject and lighten the mood, but it kept coming up. Not to mention a few trouble makers, who were newbies, it seemed were around just to keep stirring the pot because those user names aren't seen anymore either. In the end the entire thread was deleted. But the subject wouldn't die, it kept popping up in other threads..the same people carrying the same argument(s). Before you knew it some people left and started their own forum. Which is I guess good and bad. Good in the sense that if they are happy now then God bless'em. Bad in the sense that they really add a ton of great knowledge and experience. Not to mention pictures, everybody loves pictures. There have been some returns though, I hope they stick around.

The baked instead of mashed I could handle...I'd just mash them up and put butter on them right there. But no gravy?? Jeepers, what do they do with all their drippings and innards? Do they not like gravy or is it just that nobody knows how to make a good one? In my twenties, I dated a Japanese man for several years. In his family, you weren't to eat anything on New Years Day until you had Mochi soup. On the seventh day of the New Year, you were supposed to eat a special seven Spring vegetable rice soup for good luck. Because all the family would come for New Years Day, the Mother of the family combined these traditions, and would make the soup with seven vegetables and mochi instead of rice. It wasn't vegetable soup like we think of it, but a very light fish broth, with the seven vegetables and the Mochi. Now, if you've not had Mochi, an explanation is in order. Mochi is made by taking a sweetish glutinous rice and pounding it into a sticky paste in a stone mortar. Then it is formed into little round, slightly flattened cakes and dusted in rice flour to keep them from sticking to each other, to the package, to the plate to you...you get the picture. Anyway, these are dropped into the boiling soup, the Japanese version of dumplings, where they hold their shape until you try to fish them out with your chopsticks to eat them. At this point, they stretch, and stretch, and when you take a bite, you chew and chew. Believe it or not, I enjoyed those sticky, gooey, bland piles of rice goop. I liked them better toasted though. If you put them in the oven or over a fire, the outside would get crisp and toasted, and suddenly split open, and the gluey mass would ooze out. These were eaten as a snack with a mixture of soy sauce and sugar as a dipping sauce. Mochi can also be a sweet, in which case the glutinous rice is sweetened, and the little cakes stuffed with a sweetened red or white bean (whole or pureed) filling, and dusted or flavored with various things. These are not cooked, but eaten cool or at room temperature. It's something like eating a soft fondant wrapped around marzipan, if you can imagine that more easily.

I lived in Japan for years (in the '90s) and none of us (gaikokujin and native alike) had a range. (I lived in both Tokyo and Tochigi-ken, and then after I returned to the US and married a Japanese man, moved back to Tokyo.) In fact, yours is the first I've ever seen in a Japanese home, which leads me to believe it's a military-perk ... or evidence of a strongly US-influenced culture down on Okinawa. You are v. lucky! I felt like Laura Ingalls Wilder, figuring out how to bake cookies / cakes, etc., in my micro or on the two burner cooktop. I don't know of any Japanese who would have coveted a range (or a dedicated oven) but every fellow foreigner would have. So many of missed lasagne. You are so lucky and hearing you're there makes me natsukashii. Does your fridge have the dual-open door? I thought that was a kick -- there was just the one choice as the door could open from either side. I love the mod mizuya! Gambarimashou, ne!

Anxious about the tree that fell in her mothers yard last sunday-got to get that cleaned up this weekend
Anxious about going off to Florida in a few weeks-for a much needed vacation-hopes nothing comes up to spoil her plans.

cute thread!

liz is just finishing lunch and showing her co-worker's lizs' new hobby..crocheting and the 1" think 2' long green yarn snake that took more than a week to do lol. liz is looking forward to 2pm when she leaves work :-) and will go shopping for more craft stuff at Michael's then meet up w/ her DH at Border's for coffee drinks.

liz can't believe it's nearly the end of july cuz she has planned nothing for a mid aug trip to chicago...liz should have made up a box of things to mail up to chicago already (liz has a place there) so liz doesn't have to check luggage but liz is running out of time.

liz is getting back to work cuz liz's lunch ended 15 minutes ago and liz has lots to get done before she gets to leave early on fridays. liz loves getting to leave early on fridays, liz no longer gets OT since it's not spring anymore but liz always has waaay more work than time on fridays lol ~ liz

Linda waits until the last minute to do things so she now has to run out to the grocery store to buy a disposable pie plate.
Then she has to get copies made of old family photos she sorted out yesterday. She has known for 6 months that these photos had to be sorted and copied.
After Linda harvests rhubarb from her neighbors garden, she will make 3 rhubarb pies, each one different.
Then Linda needs to cut up things today to put in the taco salad tomorrow morning. She also will iron the capris she is wearing tomorrow.

StoneyB is wondering what in the world is a toothpaste rag rug that Izzie is working on.

StoneyB was in an all-morning meeting which she facilitated, and took notes. She sent out the notes right after the meeting so no one can claim it's her fault when action items aren't done on time.

StoneyB just got back from lunch, which wasn't so great. BBQ pork sandwich and baked beans. She's really tired of cafeteria food that always tastes the same.

StoneyB hopes to get off work early today too, maybe 2:30-ish. It's a hot and sunny day here in KC and she wants to enjoy some of it.

StoneyB has an oncology appointment Monday she's stressing about a little, where they'll talk about how she's doing with the Femara drug he's got her on. She's had several things going on, but none of them bad enough to make her want to *not* take the drug which protects her at least a little bit, from the cancer recurring.

StoneyB is wondering who will cook supper tonight? DS cooked last night and DH cooked two nights ago. She's afraid it's her turn.

Jenn just got up and is drinking coffee. Jenn took today off work and is getting ready to leave in a few hours for a weekend of camping at the ocean! Jenn should get busy and start pulling out all the camping gear and spreading it all over her living room.

Flamey is busy getting a box ready to send to Bonnie Scotland and wondering if she's really supposed to put "Bonnie" before Scotland on the address label or is her friend just pulling her leg about that?

Flamey is also busy getting head-butts and smoochies from Nosey Parker- when she gets tired she gets very loving. And Woody's here to tucker her out, yay!

Flamey just finished making the cat door an "IN-ONLY" door, so NP can't escape into the great outdoors where it would be dangerous for her due to her small stature. (3 pounds at the vet yesterday, growing like a weed.) We'll be like the roach-motel- the cats can check in but they won't be able to check out. lol

Flamey is also working on a custom order of pillowcases for Gabby, they have little owls all over them and are going to be SO cute, she knows she'll want a pair of 'em for herself.

Flamey thinks a status post is totally fun and informative and should be an every-day occurance.

Sue slept until 9:30 this morning. She was completely exhausted after having actually cooked a real meal yesterday using the canned salmon her friend brought her from Alaska. Also made broccoli cornbread, used the Idahoan potatoes (recommended overwhelmingly by KTers) Glenda's salmon croquettes recipe, and Blueberry Crisp (Flamey's recipe) plus deviled eggs, sliced tomatoes and cukes.

Sue had some of the broccoli cornbread , and hot tea for breakfast.

She then had a call from her DD with great news. DD had decided to retire and they asked her to stay on as an Independent Contractor, working at home! Of course she accepted it.

Sue then read the newspaper, looked through two new catalogs for skorts. came here and posted the free Friday Chocolate link, started to read the posts and found this. So here she is, debating about going to Home Depot where my DD said she saw they have gotten Sunpatience in, when she was there yesterday. I need something for two big pots out front.

Maybe after another cup of tea, Sue can decide whether or not to go to HD.

Mary Gail just made an apple pie from the apples son-in-law pointed out he had bought hoping SOMEONE would make an apple pie.

Mary Gail has finished and read or not chose to read all of the 16 books she got from the library about two weeks ago. She reread one of her favorites by Deborah Smith from her bookshelf.

Mary Gail is anxiously waiting for next weekend when she will go to Wisconsin to see her 16 y.o. granddaughter play the part of Amneris in the musical Aida.

Add the "Bonnie" (if possibly in somewhat smaller letters).

Ed decided this morning that all of the dust landing on stuff was just too much, so went over the carpets with the vacuum while still in his jammies.

As had charger on son's van battery for a while, started it, put some mud tubs into it and fed the cats.

Went out to the garden to pick beans (second picking), but too many mosquitoes so came back to house for the old T-shirt that he hangs over his head to keep them far enough away, at about which time it started to rain ...

... was pretty well stripped down, partly to rub ointment on legs for swelling, when he started to read this thread, thinking of what he'd report and to include reference to a thread that he's contemplating re underwear ...

... then there was a momentary pause in the radio ... and the screen went black.

Had some cornflakes and banana (need it to replace some nutrients draining with the water pills that the doc ordered) and set coffee to brew.

Ed needs to pull out a lot of tomato plants that are overcrowded (can anyone think "forest"?).

Will go to city with compressor, cigarettes and veggies for friend and veggies, camping gear and a couple of pieces of pie for son and his friend.

They had birthday party for her on Mon, Ed took a pie and she was to keep a couple of pieces when they sent it home ... but he brought that package along with the rest of the pie and some other packages that he was bringing, so he is to take a couple of pieces of pie today ... with apologies.

Ed's about to go to the garden to see whether it's dry enough to pick beans (crawling) or peas (standing) or lettuce (standing).

Hls cup of coffee's got just warmish, so will reheat before taking it with him to garden.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone.

Joyce is back at work after vacationing most of the past three weeks.

Joyce wishes it would stop raining now, at least for the weekend.

Joyce needs to make rice krispies bars on her lunch break, for the camping trip this weekend. Sure hoping it stops raining....

Susan is laughing over Bonnie Scotland.

Susan is jealous of Joan for those 1.5 miles of dancing. At this point Susan would settle for one good slow dance.

Susan is getting ready for the opening reception tonight:

She made her "famous" (that's her term) olive spread.
She washed some cherries (yes, she's still pigging out on cherries).
She remembered to get the wine out of her car before the sun heated it up.

Susan knows she must take the dogs for a walk and then take her shower, but instead she's interacting with her KT playgroup.

Hitting self upside the head for watching 3 3/4 yr old DGS. She thinks she's getting to old for this.
She waiting for same DGS to settle down and take a nap, so we can go to the store and bank.
She's got a load of DGS's clothes in the washer.
She'll start getting stuff together for the cabin. She'll go early tomorrow morning, for the 1st time with DGS.
Say a little prayer for her sanity please.

In the midst of doctors, tests, more doctors, more tests, something positive is coming up in one hour. A masseuse is coming over in an hour and I will her undivided attention for an hour. ahhhhh.....I am also packing for a cruise.

Getting canning and freezing done and getting ready for 3 weeks vacation to Washington D.C. with sister in law and brother in law. Then will fly out to Bermuda with them for 6 days and 5 nites. DH included of course. LOL.

Getting nervous about having Coal and Skye dog sat with daughter all that long. Not that she will not do good but it isn't us. LOL. (and I will miss them terribly) I am crying as I think about leaving them.:(

That is about all in Darleens life.

Ya Ya is draaaaaging! She just got home from a whirlwind trip to Texas to see her grandkids. This was AFTER she had kept two of them for ten days.

Ya Ya is also wondering just HOW old she's gonna look for her class reunion dinner tomorrow night! Let's see, she's been out of school for 42 years and looks like it's been 84 right now! LOL

Toni just finished watching the bay horse named Riley pace around the arena. She is such a sweet horse. Toni is wondering if we should buy her or take her back home.

Toni is thinking about cleaning out the van and the car but doesn't want to because it's 101 degrees outside and very humid.

Toni is wondering what kind of fun she can get into when all the kids are gone next week. Maybe have company over for dinner or eat out ALOT!

Linda just had a nice refreshing shower and got dressed.

Linda spent most of the day in her nightie making cards and talking with her daughter on the phone several times.

Linda should be running the vac as the dog is shedding a lot in the extreme heat, but instead she is surfing the forums, which is a lot more fun.

- Worked in the yard until it got too hot.
- Sanded a small section of wood floor.
- Started yet another diet so ate Lean Cuisine for lunch.
- Visited with DD who is expecting in Jan. Just had oldest DD here. She is expecting in Dec. Will have a busy but wonderful winter.
- Did a load of clothes, with another to do later.
- Starting to think about getting my classroom ready. This summer flew by.

Stacy is dreading buying school clothes but mostly dreading buying Sydney a tv dvd and refrig. and printer for her big college days.....
Stacy is sooo happy to be in Texas around her family even though she misses Sydney and Tanner and Dylan.....

Kath is now home from Wal-Mart, have to go back out to get some meat, veggies and fruit from Krogers next. She doesn't buy that stuff at Wally World.

She is having another glass of iced tea, chips and dip and going through her mail first.

Before she left for the store she went out and picked some beans out of the garden and checked for ripe tomatoes...only one found but it was cracked. Small melons are almost ready to be harvested, other ones not doing so well. She found lots of poke salad so will pick some for dinner, and make the beans and some type of meat.

Kathi is sitting here reading about all her KT friends,she should be vacuuming but it's too hot and the humidity is high also.
Kathi can't take heat & humidity.
Kathi slept this morning til 10:30,as the night before she had only a couple hours sleep.
Kathi is also listening to the Montel show,about health nightmares,think unknown and almost fatal diseases.
Kathi is going to tell dh,"lets have subway for dinner".

Stony, that's a toothbrush rug, not toothpaste, lol. I've never made one, but they use an old toothbrush as some sort of needle to sew it together, I think, maybe wrong.

Donna took DB to W. Plains to motorcycle shop for parts for his cycle, but he forgot to take a part along for them to know what he really needed, so another trip next week.

Stopped by Aldis for some groceries on way home.

Donna been on computer for past couple hours trying to get some pictures sorted and computer is not cooperating.

Donna just made a list and needs to go into our little town here and buy some more groceries as they have quite a few things on sale.

LOL! at myself! Sometimes Stoney's fingers type things that Stoney's mind isn't thinking about. What's with that???

Stoney got home from work and was so surprised by DH and DS! They each have a power washer going and one patio is cleaned, the other halfway done, and the back porch/deck is over halfway done. She's so happy! She assigned the deck to DS on Memorial Day ... anytime before Labor Day, he was to powerwash it and seal it. So today the first half is being done!

Now Stoney really is afraid she's going to have to cook dinner.

Vicki has been doing laundry all day long...hers, her DH's and her DS's.

Vicki has been taking care of lovely (not) MIL for the last 3 days...after her surgery.

Vicki is bored totally out of her mind.

Vicki is cleaning the kitchen, in between the internet.

Vicki still hasn't really decided if she likes that whole Facebook thing.

Vicki is looking forward to making home made laundry detergent this weekend.

Vicki's DH thinks she is crazy!

Vicki is happy that her DS's girlfriend is going to quit one of her jobs, so she doesn't have to work 70 hours a week on 5 hours of sleep a day.

Sue is LOVING this thread!

Sue and DH and Eliot have just finished 'Teatime Matinee' with Prince of Wales tea and an episode of BBC-TV's series "Hustle" -- on a DVD on loan from the library. Cookies for two and a biscuit for E-dog.

Sue's wondering if Eliot is upset because he's on the daily invermectin or if it's because DH whooped out loud when the Cub pitcher struck out the last Red's player a few minutes ago. (Such a wuss, our Westie.)

Sue's thinking it'll be fried chicken breast tonight with squash and a big ole bakery dinner roll.

Sue's tired of hearing 'distant thunder' that doesn't result in rain for her lawn and garden. She's been spoiled by a cool summer where she's only had to use the sprinkling system twice.

Sue's happy to get an email from SLC saying Stella (age 3) is home from her second round of chemo for a neuroblastoma. She's glad her DS, DIL and DGS are out there helping, but she misses them.

Sue needs to get offline, unload the dryer and fold clothes. She's pi$$ed that she can't get the stain out of DH's yellow shirt and is considering buying him a bib.

WC came to play on the 'puter while her hair dries.

WC thinks this page is looking a lot like Facebook.

WC is thinking about calling her DD.

WC is planning to go out tonight but can't decide where.

WC needs to get off her butt and play fetch with her dog.

WC's Lab is getting very impatient.

WC now has a dirty toy on her foot.

Lindsey is sitting at her keyboard, feeling a bit guilty for being inside the airconditioned house while her hubs is slaving away in the backyard. But, Lindsey's guilt is not quite as high when she realizes that her hubs is jumping into the pool to cool off whenever he feels the need.

She has just spent way too much time trying to find some genealogy information as a result of a contact message she received from someone through Ancestry.com. This person is rather insistent that they are somehow distantly related, but Lindsey can't find a connection anywhere... So, she decided to give up on that and have a seat at the Table to relax for a while.

Now, Lindsey wants to know:
.....Where the wedding is being held, that Jodi will be attending
.....Can Nora send some of those raspberries to her, so she can make some raspberry jam
.....Will Stargazer send the masseuse over when she's done

Lindsey also wants everyone who isn't feeling well or is having problems to know that she keeps them all in her thoughts and prayers.

i think this was a great thread..wendy got to know so much more about your lives...we should do this every week! wendys also listening to extreme thunder with sun shining and pouring rain. shes very "ascared" of thunder. animal shelter guy has to put her dog inside at first boom or he will rip through the fence and hurt himself. wendy is also pooped. again loved hearing about all of you..no i didnt wanna say 'yall lol

Dee spent most of the day playing with her 9 month old twin granddaughters while mom packed up to take them to Arizona for a weeks vacation with her family.

Dee has been trying to determine whether it would be better to stay with Medco or take her 'scripts to WalMart. Was super shocked to find out one of her scripts costs 1,100 bucks without insurance. (Just about fainted!)

Dee is feeling very sorry for her poor Rat Terrier who is itchy from allergies. Poor Baby.

Dee has enjoyed this thread very much.

Judy forced herself outside to clean up weeds in beds for two hours until the hot Texas weather drove her in. The neighbor stopped by to chat for a bit while outside.
Judy knows that just last night she found that he DH's very best friend from the navy will be in town on Monday with his sister, and stay at out house.
Judy knows this means her house cleaning skills must be put to task.
Judy is contemplating calling her youngest DD to come over and help her cleaning this weekend.
Judy knows that DD will do all the crappy cleaning jobs that she hates to do.
Judy loves her other neighbor that just brought over jello shots that would not fit in her cooler. Green ones are tequila, cherry ones are vodka....Yum!!
Judy knows that DH is out BBQ'ing in the heat, but has no remorse after spending several hours killing uninvited weeds.
Judy hopes that everyone is looking forward to their weekends, and if not, making the best of what they have.

Ronnie is really depressed but has no reason. DDs and dh are fine. We have no financial problems. So I feel really guilty for feeling this way when so many people have real problems. Hope this is the last post and nobody reads it. I just need to type to hopefully nobody.

Clare cleaned all the toliets in the 3 bathrooms this afternoon. She hates cleaning toliets!

Clare also answered a bunch of emails on the computer. She would rather be on the computer then cleaning toliets.

Clare took the dog for a walk then a snuggle outside on the lounge chair. Elvira, the dog, doesn't like it when she cleans the toliets. The chemical smell makes her, the dog, sneeze.

Clare ran to Target to look at shoes and a few other things. She thought she deserved a treat after cleaning all the toliets. She didn't find any shoes, but did get lactrose free milk for her son and his favorite oatmeal bars. She walked up and down all the food aisles. She didn't know they carried all those food items. She doesn't get out much.

Clare is back on the computer. She has lots of other chores to do, but it is almost dinner time so she says the He!! with it. She feels cleaning all the toliets was enough work for one day!

Nora's hoping Ronnie will feel a bit better.
Nora thinks Ronnie should have a cup of tea, maybe read a book or take a walk and relax this evening.
Nora thinks that everyone feels blue now and again...and she also thinks that there's nothing wrong with feeling that way.
Nora sends warm (((hugs))) to Ronnie and anyone else who's feeling a bit melancholy.

Kath is tired and does not want to go to Krogers today.

Kath is still trying to upload vacation pics to Photobucket and thinks she will be sitting here all night doing this. Kath is wondering why some pics are showing up turned back after she fixed them in Kodak easy share when she downloaded them???

Kath was wondering why Leslie was posting as Stacy, but now has figured it out.

Gneegirl is sitting here wondering why she hasn't called the AC guy so she can sleep at night because it is HOT here, and it will be hotter tomorrow - in the 90s, with lots of humidity on Sunday.

Gneegirl is looking at kitchen dishes that need to be done - notice, she said "looking". It's sooooooo hot...

Getting ready to put a 7kg turkey in the oven to have meat for turkey sandwiches.

Boiling the neck and giblets for the animals and to make gravy.

Making a late, late dinner. Cooking a sirloin burger, steaming turnip and will serve with homemade pickled beets. Will have the burger sans bun.

Kathleen enjoyed sleeping in this morning.
Kathleen enjoyed walking this afternoon with dad and dog at the park.
Kathleen enjoyed going to library and two DVD's waiting in hold for me. Can't wait to watch more series of McLeod's Daughter and have her kleenexes ready as they are tear jerkers.
Kathleen enjoy that dad and I went to local corn place and got fruit and corn on the cob.
Kathleen enjoyed for supper corn on the cob and scallops.
Kathleen is enjoying the nice cool day today.

Kathleen is not enjoying the hot temperatures that will begin tomorrow.

Kathleen just wants Monday be done and over fast because of dentist appointment; driving out on the high temperatures that day and getting two fillings. Not looking forward to the freezing.

Minnie is trying to stay awake in front of the computer she has her radio on to a classical music station hooray since she dropped it in the bath last night (battery operated)
she has Independence Day on TV andis going to check on her cat who is out on the back patio in the gazebo
She went to a couple of Estate sales with DS today but she didn't buy anything

jeeze do we ever sleep lol send the cherry jello shots my way please...ill take 10 lol. i usually make them in a bowl and we just pass it around..and yes its the dreaded lime...i like moonshine soaked cherries..one will do it though...hmm you are all bad influences lol happy friday!

Susan just finished watching Dominick Dunn on TRUtv.
Susan is going to watch the first 5 episodes of "Weeds" the 4th season now, she will save the other two DVD's for tomorrow. A weekend watching "Weeds" yea!!
Susan at a healthy salad for dinner so she's going to eat mint chip ice cream now.
Susan is turning off the computer because she really needs to get that ice cream! ~LOL~
