Happy (early) Birthday to my little baby!

He's not a baby anymore, that's for sure. Grant will be 2 years old tomorrow (Saturday). I can't believe it's been 2 years since he came into our lives. He's changed so much and has grown into his own little independent person.

Thank you all for being a special part of his first 2 years of life.

Good luck melmat - I can imagine how wonderful you must be feeling at this point. My own garden is less than 6 months old, but I am proud of the fact that I have taken a 'blank canvas' (except for two Royal Cuban palms..) on a 700 sq m block and turned it into something which actually resembles a garden (tropicals, natives and exotics, depending on which part of the garden you wander into). I was originally wary of planting tropical plants, but the results thus far have been encouraging, and I am looking forward to the fruit of my labour in 2-3 years and beyond. At 45, my only regret is that I spent so many years with little or no appreciation for the joy of gardening. I think the word 'sanctuary' is apt - people talk of the healing power of pets, but nothing beats being surrounded by healthy foliage for mine.

OH my gosh just look at that picture!!!! Only 2 years ago? He's still a doll and is going to be a KT sweetie for the rest of his life!
He HAS changed so much and isn't a baby any more.

No, Steph, Thank YOU for letting us be a part of your beautiful son's life. All the way from the fertility struggle to the beautiful pictures of Grant totally enjoying his water slide. It is just so wonderful to see kids that are growing up surrounded by lots of love. Grant sure does hold a special place in the KT hearts!

Even when I wasn't here, I still lurked often, and seeing all that you have gone through to get your little angels, just incredible. I am sure it makes those birthdays even more special. Blessings to him and to his parents too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Grant!!!

Steph, he is one of the most beautiful babies I have EVER seen - I used to be a nurse in labor and delivery and newborn nursery, so I've seen a TON of babies - he is just gorgeous!

It is also now time for a picture of Grant, as he looks today - perhaps post one EVERY DAY for those of us who can't get enough of looking at him! LOL
