After running around my place like a crazy person this morning trying to find a place for four monster roses somewhere close to the house, I've revised my rose list. It's now GH, Le Vesuve, Salet and Singe Cerise China (the last again thanks to Jeri's enabling skills). The alternates are Indigo and Mme. Charles. My question now is whether anyone has grow Salet in the southwest and what its ultimate size is expected to be. I decided against Mme. Louis Leveque not only because of her larger size but also because of reports on the forum of sparse to non-repeat blooming. At any rate, I'd so appreciate hearing from anyone who has grown Salet and can tell me all about this rose. Thank you. Ingrid

Wombat, I got the boy and girl words backwards. It's actually girl and boy babies. I found a link that mentions the book number and offers for free one of my favorite patterns from the book. A beautiful thread crochet bib. I do have a PayPal account, and if you cannot find a copy of the book somewhere and would like to reimburse shipping, the well worn book is yours. My daughter as captain of the sports team dealt with both customink on line and a local printer. The local printer turned out to be the best bet when it came to some special clothing they wanted. Another idea is you can print iron on transfers that you can apply yourself.

I would move the buffalo to the center and put the word Lookout across the top and Gardens under the buffalo and then location info across the bottom in small text. Or if you want to keep the business name together have Lookout Gardens at the top (2 lines) and the location words across the bottom. I wouldn't stack any important words the way you show Lookout Gardens - you want the biz name to be the easiest thing to read (biggest, brightest, boldest). Do you have a buffalo image already? Having him charging at you is very powerful but a difficult angle to draw or photograph since they are so dark. If you want a more stylized image, like a basic silhouette or cartoon style image it may be easier to achieve - it kinda depends on how much detail you want in your logo, which depends on how you plan on presenting it (full color and large, black and white and small). If your logo will be used small for the most part - like on business cards and flyers, I would have the buffalo be your mascot image and just list off the veggies you grow or put the words Vegetable Farm or something similar across the bottom of the design. If you plan on having big banners and posters made then go all out and put a lot of detail into the design. You don't want to be too cluttered or else it will get confusing for people that have never seen it. I think having him busting through veggies would be fun, with stuff flying off in all directions but it may not sell the idea of 'vegetable farm". You also want to make sure it doesn't look like you're selling buffalo meat (unless you are).
