Cake Pops - Spongebob

I made some Spongebob cake pops for Grants birthday BBQ we had today. They were easy but very time consuming. I have hours invested in these things but they're SO cute!

Oh....wait...you're using a cakepop pan! I didn't answer that part of your question correctly! Sorry! I don't really know what to do for that. A poundcake?? I quite like the texture of the cake mixed with some frosting...not too much. I've never had Starbuck's cakepops!

nicole...email me and I can give you some tips. smcqueen72@comcast.net They'd be super cute arranged in a small flower pot, but you could save yourself some time and money if you just got a large pot and put all of them in one pot and just had people take one as a favor. Either way would be fine I think. You really don't even have to do much to the pop itself. Just use fun colors and some sprinkles. No need to actually make it look like a flower unless you want to get really creative. I think they make super cute party favors.

LOL My hubby says crick! LOL I'm from Edmonds, and we didn't talk that way! LOL how was fishing on the Yak? I would love to learn to fly fish! DH was up at Seiku and caught NOTHING! lol which is really unusual for him. My brother called that Sunday evening (they were staying for the week) after DH got home and said they had their limit in 45 minutes! and caught fish every day after that! LOL

Actually, they're very easy to make, just time-consuming; look on Bakerella's site for lots of free ideas and inspiration. If you loved playing with play doh as a kid, you'll have no trouble with the fondant accents. And once the candy melts have hardened, it's just like coloring with markers. It all goes back to "everything you need in life, you learned in kindergarten", LOL.

Thank you so much everyone! They were alot of fun to make. I wish I would've kept track of my time to see how much I have invested in them.

justgotabme - are you looking for instructions on how to make cake pops or Spongebob specifically? Not sure how much you know about how to make cake pops.

Wow Steph, I know you put tons of time and love in making those, they turned out wonderful. Cake baking/decorating is additicing and a labor of love.

I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear. I've never heard of cake pops and if I made them I'd have to make them with a Cars theme for our grandson. Although I would need to know how to make the frosting look so smooth and how you added the details too. They are just so darn cute!

They are really awesome! I will have to send a pic to my granddaughter. She loves to bake and decorate. She might even think about making them for her PreK class.
