If your stove has knobs, just pull off the knobs for the oven controls and stick them in a drawer. That's what I do for burners that I don't want used because I've got something on top of them. If it's digital, I suppose you could stick some electric tape over the control to remind you! :)

oh darn!! I forgot to WS my cosmls, zinnia and other tender annuals. sigh.... Guess it's time to start WSing again!!! I just spent an hour opening most of my containers up to allow a little direct sun and more ventilation as it's in the 70's here again...in April!! I have daffs blooming here..in April!! What the heck! And of course...I may be foolish...but I've started planting some things out! They're just getting too root bound in the containers, or not fitting well because they are growing so fast!

dc charlotte-can you just order your cabinets with space for a 36" range? I didn't have to get down to a specific make or model in order to place my cabinet order. I'm so obsessed with GW! When I see a new post on this thread, my heart nearly skips a beat! About the maual cleaning...no, that doesn't scare me. I have a self-cleaning oven now that I NEVER self-clean! In fact, I never used the self cleaner for the oven in my old house, either. Of course, I've completely let this current oven go to he** because I know it's leaving. I'm just hoping I'll be able to stay on top of it with the Fratelli. I kind of have to anyway, because DH is a very messy cook and our primary cook.

Breezy, at least a total of 25"+ on the ground. Weatherman said we got freezing drizzle in the middle of the night. It's about 30° out there right now. I have chicken breasts topped with StoveTop Stuffing in the crockpot. I made myself a calendar for Feb/Mar yesterday and put the number of days till spring on each of the days. Each morning I will cross off another day. 30 more to go!!! (I did this on how many days I had till retirement and found it to be a little help.) Shirley
