I've got rainbows in my eyes for kitchen accessories! I've got a thing for brightly colored everything in my life, come to think of it. Pops of candy hues are the spice of life; here are a few of my latest obsessions sure to make even the drabbest of days shine. — Kristin from The Cuisinerd
Do bread boxes actually work? I hope so, because I see a new investment in my kitchen's future.
These glasses have a serious sense of humor — the dented shape, the playful colors. They need something fizzy in them ASAP!
I'm officially making sushi for every meal for the rest of my life. Could this soy sauce container be any more adorable? No, I don't think it's possible.
Is it the fact that these disposable utensils are shaped like hearts, or the fact that they look like a bag of hard candy? I'm in desperate need to plan a picnic so I can use these ... heck, I'd use them at the dining room table. They are that good.
It's the color blocker of platters. I love the pop of lime with those pinks — super chic.
You could have a glass oil dispenser like the rest of the world, of you could have one that looks like a pantone chip. Yeah, I thought so — sold.
I've been obsessed with the super servers created by Ladies & Gentlemen for quite some time. The latest set is a slightly calmer color pallet which, to me, screams old wooden sea buoy. Sail away with me!
Meticulous knife work just got pretty.
I'm a bit fanatical for multifaceted objects. Even though these might be intended for storing precious small objects, all I'm thinking of is putting my freshly ground spices in there. Counter gems!
This tray is full of color, personality and life. It's like a game board of happiness. Must own.
This is one mean juicer. It's sleek and modern, and it looks like it could get some serious work done for you.
Gray and yellow is one of my favorite color combos, but this tea pot really had me with that flashy red handle.
I love the play on rich tones and unexpected materials. Acrylic has never looked so swanky.
These coasters are so glam, I want to strap a gold chain to them and wear as a necklace. Oh, so rock 'n' roll.
This cake stand is so playful. It would make for an amazing centerpiece with a drape-like potted succulent or terrarium on top. Oops! Another thing ended up in my shopping cart.
Purple is my favorite color. Sautéing is my favorite activity. That was easy.
All aboard! This light fixture could turn boring overhead lighting on its head. How amazing would these look over a funky industrial kitchen bar?
I'm no baker. I'm a horrible accurate measurer. Perhaps those things are connected? Measuring cups are a must for me and these look just my speed.
Is it just me or is the tong doing jumping jacks in the middle of all that color? I would be too. Those are some seriously joyful kitchen tools.
This sunshine of a pestle and mortar has changed my mind about making garam masala from scratch. I could grind away with this happiness — not one complaint.

I have nothing against color. In fact, I love colors (some of them, anyway). But when the colors I like are "out of fashion" I would rather make do with something that doesn't scream "last year" a ways down the road (um, calendar). Plus, any color utensil or accessory I buy has to at least coordinate with my kitchen, my style, and my pocketbook. Just sayin'.
