She's always busy with the girls and her garden, and she's happy and healthy!

I'm still wondering what everyone is doing today. I have had really slow internet connection so can't always post when I want. Thanks for asking. Very busy with family things this summer. Garden is getting weedy and we have had too much rain to work in it. Work slowly progressing on my hen house, they should start laying before too many weeks and still doing a lot of cooking and baking. I have posted on the KT but guess you have missed those.

Someone I miss is Schoolhouse. I may have missed her posts too, has anyone noticed if she has posted?

I miss your "What is everyone...." posts too, Marilyn Sue! It's great fun to hear about your busy life, especially since I get a small fraction of work done, compared to you. :)

I agree with the others, Marilyn Sue. I always have enjoyed your life in Indiana as my family is from Cincinnati Ohio and when I know its stormy where you are it will soon be on its way to them. lol Love to hear about your garden, chickens, and family too.

Thanks for the heads up Tami. Not a lot of time to keep up here at the KT between my job, photography and health issues.

But I'm alive and mostly well. I sometimes read the KT during my work day but due to company browser settings, have to log into the KT each day if I want to post. With a username as long as mine, I usually pass.

Will be going under the knife some time in August to have my neck rebuilt. Out of the seven neck vertebrae, the bottom two will be removed and replaced with artificial vert. The middle three will be fused to each other and the first two, will be biopsied because there is a suspicious white spot between them that two sets of x-rays, a CT scan and two sets of MRIs could not ID.

I suspect the hardest part will be the two months of recovery time when I am not able to get out and take photos. Perhaps the free time will allow me to finally process my 85,000 travel and nature photos I've piled up. :-)

Thanks gals for the good thoughts. The doctor makes it all sound very routine. Even though it sounds complex it only involves a small incision in the front of the neck that disappears after healing and I should have better range of motion after surgery than I do now because my neck is so misaligned. I haven't driven freeways for 15 years because of my neck. I'm hoping the surgery will allow me to get back on the road again.

Hey Everyone! Wow, I haven't been here in a couple years!! Lots of new names, and some familiar ones too. Tami gave me a heads up to come check in so here i am! I hope everyone is dong well.

Lets see, what's new with us?

Grant will be 8 next month (July 19) and is going into 3rd grade. He's growing like a weed, has his dads mechanically inclined mind and loves tools and machinery. He's very smart and is a hard worker!! He's independent and sweet!!

Camryn was 5 in January and is a spitfire! She's funny and outgoing but she's got a devilish streak in her for sure. She's stubborn and wants nobody to be the boss of her, so she says. She's starting Kindergarten in August and is super excited. She's not a girly girl AT ALL!!!

Our dog, Harlow, is 2.5 and is, I swear, Dakota's twin. They act almost identical in every way. It's almost scary because sometimes I feel like they're the same dog. She's super curious and playful, and adorable.

As for me, I'm just staying busy with the kids. We just moved out of our house 2 weeks ago into an apartment temporarily while our home undergoes a massive remodel/addition. Well, it's more of a slight rebuild. We are adding on almost 1500 square feet (building a 2nd level) so we are living in an apartment for 6 months. It's interesting but so far so good!!

Hope everyone else is doing great!!! I'll try to check back more often!! :-) I'm on Facebook if anyone wants to find me there. Lots of kid pictures. Just give me your KT name or I probably wont know who you are! :-)

The surgeries now are so advanced you will be surprised.
You won't in the hospital very long, then sent home to recuperate. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Big Hugs

Getting old....lol....I'm 19 years older than I was the first time I posted here.

Tomorrow my husband Denny will be getting a new lense in his right eye. He got one in his left eye a couple weeks ago. now has 20/20 in the left eye
He is excited to get rid of his glasses. Hoping he won't need readers.
Some of you might remember he had a stroke. The tendens in his right leg are getting so tight that it makes walking much very painful. So in a couple of weeks he will be getting botox (sp?) in his leg.
I'll be getting a new husband....lol
