Anyone ever do any business with Cellular Blowout? If not,DON'T!LOL I should have checked it out before I did. I ordered a cell phone for DH from them.It was one of those unlocked phones that is supposed to work with your current wireless provider.Got it within the reasonable time and it didn't work.So I contacted them,by e-mail as instructed, and was told to send it back for a "prompt" refund.Sent the phone back and was contacted,by e-mail,that it had been received and I would receive my refund in 10-14 days.We left and went to NM and were gone for a month,no refund.when I got back I e-mailed again asking where it was and was told that they would "re-submit" the refund request and I should get it in 10-14 days. That should have been last Wed.I gave them until Tuesday of this week,still no refund.I e-mailed again and they said it takes 10 days,it had been 10 days and I wanted my refund.Got an e-mail back with contact phone number.Called 3 times Tues.no answer,left messages.Called 10 times yesterday,no call back.Sent 2 e-mails yesterday,the last one not very nice and threatened to turn over to my lawyer.No response.Called again 3 times this morning.About an hour ago I got a call from "Catlyn" in customer service telling me that my refund will be mailed to me.They have a "new" refund system that doesn't allow them to refund it back to my credit card.Yeah,right! She said it should be here Tuesday,so I guess we shall see.Trouble is I won't be here Tuesday.I do have someone that will check my mail though.

And why is it that it only takes 24 hours for them to take your money but you can't get it back for 10-14 days?

From now on I will check out the company before I order online.Lots and lots of dissatisfied customers plus legal action for fraud on that company.OK rant over!! I feel better now.LOL

good job, it's been revived after a 2yr hiatus on the lipstick plant. mine's been suffering v badly this winter where it's leaves dropped off almost daily. it's sited next to a west-facing venetian-slatted window (that means in winter, it's fairly dim). i haven't sprayed it before, but last winter, it seemed pretty healthy. i'm not quite sure how it's got to this stage where my treatment of it has been the same. in the growing season, it's been fed weekly (i think) and watered regularly. this winter all my plants have been watered at least once a week, and they haven't been in any unnecessary heat (i didn't put my heating on this winter). do you think it was the lack of heat that's causing the leaf-drop? i'd say, the house got as cold as 5 deg. celsius (tho' that's a major estimate!) and the outdoors minus 10 deg. celsius. it's currently sitting upstairs in my east-facing bedroom, where there is more light and a tad warmer than the downstairs room. it's also had a major trim of all the dead bare stems and the unhealthy leaves taken off. anyone to help?

The bummer here is that nothing is going to restore the damage. Very sad. I would be livid!!! I have a cement block wall that is on two sides of my yard as I am on the end or corner with greenbelt behind me. It is really nice because we have trees all around but on the other side so no maintenance. Every now and again the county comes out and trims or whatnot. I have spoken with the supervisor on many occassions and he told me that if anything bothers us, looks overgrown, etc we can call him directly and they will immediatly take care of me. He said they do this for anyone in our type of location. We have called and each time they are fabulous. Your situation, even it they had the right away, just goes to show how workers, not all but many, just want to do the job but not necessarily do it right or well. No pride in quality or work. Unfortunately this is where this world is. Sorry, again.

Mom of 4... this is my advice take it or not ... but DO NOT get in the way ...or try to appease either parent by running around getting the "stuff" they forgot or left at moms or dads that the children need. Let the parents do it they are going to battle over this its a pi$$ point on both sides. Its a way of marking their territory showing who has more control. I wish someone had told me not to be available to the them to do their running around .... If mom can't stop at the house for 15 minutes while they change then oh well she is responsible for dropping off the stuff at the house the next day before they need it. MY SC have a duffle bag they bring back and forth with stuff they need ... and they keep it in the nurses office at school until the end of the day. We chased teddy bears blankets coats I will never chase anything again ... If they need it and she has it she is responsible for dropping it off where they need it. If they need it and we have it we are responsible for dropping it off where they need it. I ran myself ragged getting their stuff ... So please do not chase their stuff let the parents take responsiblility for their stuff ... its going to take cooperation from both parents to work this out. But stay out of it ... do not offer to get any of it. I know you are thinking I am around I can do it whats the big deal ... but believe me it won't stop at football pads. School year visitation is the most difficult for the kids because of "stuff" ... they forget their homework books whatever and if the parents can't cooperate its tough on the kids. But the kids will learn not to forget stuff ... eventually. Do not play hero and gather up their stuff ... let the parents do twice as much running around getting the stuff.

Good luck with the rest, OP. This is my first time/season starting plants from seeds (harvested from nursery zinnias, and milkweed & tithonia seeds). I feel I may have gotten ahead of myself as many seedlings sprouted this week, and I'm headed out of town next week for a week...and weather here in TX is starting to heat up. :/ DH will be here, but gardening isn't his thing. I'll need to rig up a no-fail watering regimen for him to stick with, and I'll just hope for the best. BTW, what type of vinca do you have? I'm only familiar with the common types sold at local nurseries and big box stores. I've tried them only once many years ago, but they succumbed to some sort of fungus.

Go ahead and contest it with your credit card company. The cell phone people may be trying to string you along past the 60 limit to contact with your credit card. If you receive the refund by mail you can cash and make sure the check is good before telling your credit card company it is taken care of.

I agree, put in a dispute with your CC company. Explain the situation and ask for the refund. I think most CC companies have about a 60 day limit etc, but if it appears to be a fraud situation, the limit may be extended. Also, watch your CC and other things for a possible idenity theft situation.

My credit card is actually a debit card that can be used the same as a credit card.We don't own credit cards.LOL.Comes out of my checking account.They wouldn't be able to use the information I used when I ordered because our bank has since changed names and issued new credit/debit cards so I'm not worried about identity theft.

Awhile back I had a situation with a vendor that sounds very similar to what you are going through. Even used the same excuses and lies about 10-14 days. I finally wound up filing a report with the Attorney General's office of the state in which the company was located. It took some time, but I finally got my money back -- I also used a debit card. Now I use PayPal for online purchases. Call the AG's office and get the paperwork, you're probably gonna need it.

I am so mad!
