Anybody watch America's got talent last night?

My niece Erin husband's nephew Erik and his partner (both 8 years old)danced last night and were chosen to go on to Las Vegas.

Erin is the daughter of my sister Kim from PA who posts here once in awhile.

I saw it, and they were wonderful! Both very talented kids. And their dance routine was really good. I wish them luck.

I thought they were great!!! I really enjoyed watching them dance. You could tell their little hearts were really into their dancing.

This is so funny, I've been singing that song all day because of the show last night. I finally get a chance to log in and here is this thread. She was soooo cute, what a charmer. I really loved her parents too. They seemed pretty normal. I loved at the end of her song and critique how she ran to her daddy's arms. You could hear him say he was so proud of her then you could hear her say "thank you daddy". BIG AWWWWWWWWW! The "I'm from America" was great too. The opera singer brought tears to my eyes. Loved him and the audiences reaction to him. Just great.

Grimm was spectacular. I love his look, his voice, and his genuine sole. I really hope he does well and makes something of himself from this show. It seems like he's had a hard life. My biggest worry is that people may look at him as "another singer/guitarist" like last year's winner and not want the same ole, same ole to win. I surely hope not though. If I was a record mogul, I'd sign him tomorrow. OMG, I love Howie on the show. He's a perfect fit and enjoyable to watch on the show.

I don't know if everyone sees a previous show before the new show, but here we do. So on last night's replay, I got to see this charming 8 yr. old girl from Amarillo; she was at the Houston auditions. She played the piano and sang Proud Mary..what fun she is..she is one happy child and made everyone laugh and smile. :) I enjoyed the postal workers also.

I thought the choice of the last 5 was perfect. To hold a large audience I think Nuttin but Strings could do it. I would like to hear them play some "regular" music sometime though. Neal is great; I just wish he would smile. Donald is super, as are the others. As far as Kaitlyn, she is precious, as are many 4 year olds who can perform as well as she. Remember the little "Cuppycake" girl? I really don't think they should let those little ones even try out, unless it would be a special category just for that age group. Sue

I saw them. Such great little dancers!I wish more youngsters could find activities like that, instead of wasting their time on cell phones, video games, texting, etc.

I was thinking as I watched the show that someone here at the KT had mentioned a relative who was going to be on.

I hope they can go farther.

Erik is your husband's nephew? Wow, he and Erin blew me away with their talent. Born dancers, the two of them, and cute as can be!

I love this show. So many really talented people show up, and I even enjoy some of the flakes.

Erik is my niece's husband's brother's son. They have been on Oprah and other shows. They have won alot of awards for mostly ballroom dancing.

They really are cute and both did a good job. I just loved when they asked if she was his girlfriend and he gave a big NO... lol.. funny. Wishing them good luck in next round.

Go to YouTube and search for Americas Got Talent Erik and Rickie and you'll be able to watch their segment of the show. One of the videos is fairly poor quality so click on another if you get that one.
