I'm counting the hours until I get off work. After work, I have to make a stock-up run to Target. About once every two months, I stock up on TP, paper towels, toothpaste, shampoo, soap....etc. My car is packed on the way home but I feel so good, knowing I'm not going to run out of these things for a while.

I am staying inside. It is too hot to step outside.

Trying to get stuff done. Laundry. Went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things, stopped by beauty shop to see if they had an opening to cut my and Alex's hair. Have to go back in about an hour.

So, back to doing laundry and cleaning up the house.

Chicken soft tacos for dinner.

Staying cool inside the house. I'm also babysitting Jayden. DD started at 3M last week on the 4-12 PM shift. He don't/won't mind Carley, so she (12 1/2)stays home and I bring him (3 1/2) here. He stayed overnight last night, and I may have him until Friday morning. Unless mom misses him to much.

Clearing out dead growth, weeds for om the front gardens.

With two big garden parties coming up here (baby shower and wedding) at the end of the summer ... we just realized we have a lot to do.

Off from work today amd tomorrow. I'm just doing the usual
cleaning washing of clothes and so forth. Today is husbands birhtday he lefted yesterday for Atlantic City will be back tomorrow night.

I have to walk the dog. I'm feeling guilty because I've been so busy this month that I feel as if I'm neglecting him. So last night I gave myself a stern lecture on how I made the commitment to get a dog and walking him is part of it. Not easy when you're exhausted.

Hi all. Im at work as usual. Im hoping I have enough energy when I get home to collect the trash from around the house and get it out to the curb for tomorrow's pick up. I will also try to drag some junk from out of the garage to the curb. I've been trying to get things out there twice a week for pick up and slowly but surely Im weeding things out. I'll be happy if I get that much done. Im getting lazier and lazier the older I get. I think for dinner I'll do a couple of pork chops on the George Forman and some veggies to go along with it. Take care. Satine

Grocery shopped earlier this morning. Thought maybe we'd beat the heat, but we didn't quite make it. But considering it was 74 when I got up at 5:30, I shouldn't have expected it. By the time we got it all in the house and put away, I was ready for a nap!!

Kathleen, you'll be going to Germany in a few days. Are you all packed and ready? Have a wonderful time!

Dinner tonight is beef stir-fry and Texas toast. Strawberries on little Madelines for dessert.

I'm enjoying cool air upstairs again. The air conditioning was fixed this morning. So I'm cleaning upstairs and doing laundry. That's about it.

I'm short a kid. A friend DD hasn't seen in a year called today to invite her to play/swim. THey always got along well, I'm sure they'll pick up where they left off. Even though the boys are all still here, it's amazing how much quieter the house is if just one child is gone for the day. DOesn't matter which one, it's not that DD is the loud one. ;o) But being short any one of them just changes things enough to make it quieter. IT's weird.

My plan is to have one of those days where we just don't go anywhere. Although DS is itching to drive... just got his permit.

i havent done one thing worthwhile today except make my bed and get dressed. a real lazy day, oh and went next door to my parents to get the little 4 cup coffee pot lol i get up earlier than they do most days and hate walking next door to put on a pot of coffee and wake them up. i guess theres not much else on the agenda except play on here. hope everyones day is more exciting than mine!

Gonna make my bed and take an early nap. Too hot! Even pool water was like bath water this morning, but I did what I had to do, water aerobics and 6 laps after class. Hope to get up to 10 laps.

Weather good here, only 72 and breezy. But am tired as we went to Bismarck to pick up DD and kids for a month. (3hour drive each way). As they came in a midnight, we stayed overnight. We really look forward to visiting with them. Have some things planned, but not too much.

I just received a call from DS from Kuwait. Made the day for this Mom.

To hot to do much of anything. I had an appointment for tests at the hospital, had lunch at the Magic Wok. went to the Buyback store and bought about a dozen movies, most were $1.99 each and filled my car up with gas. Now I am going to lay down in my recliner and watch a few Stargate shows.

I still need to get the rest of the laundry off the line. It's darn hot here.

I am now going to pack to got to HOT Tulsa for a few days, and for going to my daughter and grand daughters right afterwards.

I already packed my biking stuff. I am going on a bike about in Colorado in two weeks. Yeah, looking forward to this... it should be cooler! :)

They had to order a part for the air bag and it didn't come in.Oh well.....Nothing we can do about it but WAIT!
