paper towel holder
Comments (44)About the recessed paper towel holder that pepper posted a picture of: I'd say the cabinet is 16" - 18", probably 18", if it's a standard size. A paper towel roll is 11" long, there's probably 1" to 2" of space on each side of it in the recess, and the stiles of the cabinet look like they're about 1 3/4" to 2" wide each. I saw something like it in a kitchen magazine recently and I liked it too. The cabinets in the picture Pepper posted (try saying that 3 times fast) are beautiful! I'd like to paint a finish like that on my cabinets -- I have to figure out how....See MoreBest Paper Towel Holder for kitchen?
Comments (16)I own the perfect tear, which I started looking at in anticipation of my new house, but couldn't wait to try out. It works great, but as some people have noted in their reviews of it- sometimes it seems stiff and difficult to turn. I still like it better than having them all come off the roll when I only wanted one. I will have two paper towel locations in my kitchen, one permanent so no one can walk off with them, one mobile (stand up counter model) so that I can move it around if I need to. Both will be perfect tear models. The counter model is in my kitchen now, and the permanently mounted model is in a box waiting for the new kitchen....See MorePaper towel holder ? ? ?
Comments (25)Scootermom - in answer to your question, I use the Bounty "Select-a-Size" paper towels, which I like because sometimes you only need 1/2 towel, or maybe 1-1/2 towels, so I like the versatility. As I noted in my post above, I have the Perfect Tear towel holder (linked above to BB&B). The Perfect Tear holder works equally well for the Select-a-Size or the whole-size rolls. Korney19 - LOL! I'll link a pic of the Famous Dave's PTholder. Fun in the restaurant, but I wouldn't have one in my kitchen which I spent so much time and money to look beautiful! Here is a link that might be useful: Famous Dave's Restaurant PTholder...See MoreBallard Cortona Paper Towel Holder?
Comments (2)Where will you be placing it? It's approx a foot deep, so it will take up about half the depth of a standard counter...it would look really nice in a corner, though. Instead of just measuring it out, try finding or making a box with the same dimensions and putting it on the counter...it should give you an idea of how the "mass" of it will fit/look. 16"H x 16"W x 11.5"D...See Moredejongdreamhouse
