Refrigerator opinions

OK, mines not a fancy kitchen so I'm hesitant to post here, but I value your opinions so here goes. I'm replacing my current appliances with stainless steel Maytag. We're in rural area and that's what my local dealer and friend sells.

Current fridge is 25 cu ft. Depth has become an issue. Current one is 32 1/2" deep including handles and there's currently 39" between counter edge and fridge handle. I thought I wanted a french door but maybe opening the lower drawer would be awkward, so which option would you do. It's just 2 of us left at home and we have a 2nd basement fridge. Pictures are dark, cloudy day.

Option 1: 20 cu ft french door, counter depth (30 3/8) same width as current. Black sides. Most expensive. MFI2067AES

Option 2: 23.1 cu ft side by side, counter depth (30 1/8) same width as current. Gray sides MCD2358WEM

Option 3: 22 cu ft french door, standard depth 34 1/4" so it's 1 3/4 deeper than I have right now but also 3" narrower. Gray Sides. MFI2269VEM With this option I could maybe put a wood panel on the side, but it's doubtful my hubby would go for that. Also it's deeper than current model.

The one side is well exposed so gray or black? Changing the back wall isn't an option because it's load bearing and has wiring.
