All White Kitchen With Simply White Cabinets and What on Walls?

The painter put a sample of BM Simply White on one of our cabinet doors and part of the wall that has recently been covered in ship lap. The cabinet color is perfect. A creamy white that looks white. The Simply White on the walls, however, look too yellow. I'm really surprised since both surfaces are wood. Does anyone have an all-white kitchen (cabinets, walls, trim, ceiling)? If so, did you use the same color on all surfaces? That was my plan until now. Should I consider keeping Simply White on the cabinets and painting the walls something different? I'm completely stumped on this!

This is a photo from Houzz. Everything is painted in the same white (BM OC 21, Winter White). The cabinets were painted in Semi gloss, the walls in eggshell & the ceiling in flat. I don't know if you are using different finishes on your cabinets & walls. If it's the same paint from the same can, maybe a primer on the shiplap or an extra coat of paint? Or take a piece of the painted cabinet & a piece of shiplap to the paint store & have them color match it.
I'm not a paint expert but the crown above my cabinets was not factory finished, it was raw wood. We didn't have a specific color to match to as my cabinet color wasn't a known paint brand/color. My painter primed the crown & then had the paint store match the color & the sheen.

Thanks for your response. I'm thinking that the current cabinets, which are a deep cream/almost yellow, may be refecting off of the Simpy White semi-gloss finish on the shiplap making it appear more linen than white. I'm assuming that once all the cabinets are painted Simply White, that reflection will be gone and everything will appear white. I am going to try a sample of Super White but I have a feeling that is too white to do the whole kitchen. The ajoining livingroom will also be painted in this white so I have to get it right.

First I would do the ceiling the same color as the walls I like matte for walls and ceilings and then a satin for trim as for the cabinets they will need to be done by an actual cabinet refinisher with conversion varnish so you can go the same color but they will look a bit different every time you change the sheen the color catches the light differently so keep that in mind. I am not sure why the cabinets need painting , I actually love the way the paint is now in the house.

Thank you SO much! This is very helpful! The kitchen is closed off, but there is a little eating area with stools that over look the dining/living room, which is painted Stonington Gray by BM. Here are two photos 1) A photo I took last week of the cabinets next to the eating area and 2) A photo from the open house that shows the eating area (the lighting looks different in both pictures). Does bm Navajo white on walls go with bm simply white trim?

I had Navajo white in my old house, it definitely leans yellow. I’d be more inclined to stick with all white to play nice with all your elements.

@Dawne, you don't bother me. Ask as many questions as You need. Most are 6" ( upper cabinets and some smaller drawers ) and 8" on longer drawers.

I had this issue with Simply White as well in a bathroom it appeared very warm, and it's very white on my stairs. So, I think any white will differ in lighting and sheens. The sheen in particular seems to make the biggest difference I've noticed. I was going to do the same thing with my cabinets and walls, but now I'm not sure!
