...just in case anyone's interested... I just spotted this. It's black with brass detailing, and it's located in the San Francisco area (but maybe you could ship it). And it's HALF PRICE! $3500!!!!!!!

Man, that's even in my neighborhood! Wish I had $3500 and a hole big enough for a 40" stove... *sigh* (Somehow I think my husband would not be open to ideas that involved moving our brand new cabinet and counter over four inches. ;)

We own a cluny. What I think you need to ask yourself, is how much do I need each of these items. From your list, to my mind the least required would be a warming cupboard. We haven't had a microwave for ten years and interestingly, don't seem to miss it. FWIW, having a microwave at undercounter height doesn't seem any worse than an oven undercounter.

Bonjour @sseibert !! Such an exciting time. Just a petite reminder for The Cluny Range: Choose an overhead canopy with the following optimum specifications: 42″ wide (48″ for Cluny island applications) x 24″-27″deep Blowers should be rated at 600-900 cfm, with 8″ round ducting, or equivalent. Size should be measured by the style and quantity of cooking, i.e. Asian stir-fry (vaporized grease) requires higher performance blowers than French reduction (steam). Hood can be mounted to wall or ceiling 30″-36″ (from hood base) off cooktop. Check with your hood company for specific requirements. That I do not know. Several hundred? A grand??? Still way less than buying new. You could call a moving company in the Bay Area and ask them how much it would be to (1) pick it up and pack it and (2) stick it on the next truck heading east. Or maybe the people who posted the ad have some idea on shipping.

There is a website where you can get good deals on shipping.
People bid for your job. If you find a truck going the right place, you can luck out. DO note that these are very heavy and require several people/men to move.

It's interesting in that it looks like it is in someone's home. Ordinarily I might worry about shipping anything that valuable, but LaCanche are pretty indestructible and pretty simple technology.
