I bought my Cluny on Craig's list. This price is thousands more than I paid- but there are other considerations. If you could drive to pick it up you would save a significant amount on shipping. You wouldn't have to wait months for delivery, either. That's a french top, not a griddle, but I can see why you thought it was a griddle.

Hi Megs1030, I have the Chagny 1400, which is like the Cluny except it has the added smaller oven (which gets used all the time for roasting veggies, etc.). I use the warming drawer almost everyday. It is great for keeping prepared foods warm, slow cooking, and Sous vide cooking of meats. I do not find the smaller ovens an issue. No, I do not bake cookies directly on the pasty sheets. Cookies and everything else bakes wonderful in the smaller ovens. I use the gas oven for roasting meats. Turkey (18 lbs) fit and roast beautifully. As for sliding items in and out of the ovens, that depends on the pan. If the ovens had the telescoping oven racks it would be easier, but the range has so many other great qualities that I do not mind not having telescoping racks. We all have different cooking styles, I would suggest you contact Art Culinaire. The company has excellent customer support. They are the most wonderful group to work with. They can put you in contact with a range owner, so that you can experience the range first hand. Which for me was great. Seeing the range in a kitchen, experiencing how to use it first hand, really help me make my decision to purchase. Good luck.
