I wasnt worried about the postage, you didnt need to send it to me, honest ! I would of said something but it was only a few cents ! Alana, I DID want the swap to be ALL 2008 seeds, and thought that was reflected in my first post, BUT then I got an envelop with mostly 2007...To be fair to the person I used some, and sent some back, as I KNEW the seeds would be viable, and I didnt want to disappoint anyone on a misunderstanding. If I do this next year, I will definately make sure everyone realizes the guidelines a bit better. This was my first time, and I made a few mistakes..I did talk with a few other people that have done tons of RR to ask how to handle a few things...so I followed some good advice. Thank you Beekeeperswife! I love your kitchen so much, I checked it out on the Mission Tile and Stone site too, fabulous! I asked my fabricator to make me lazy susan's out of my sink cutouts. I have one marble and one in granite. They're pretty heavy but they blend right in when they're sitting on the counter. The marble one is going to go on the wood breakfast table because I'm not so sure I want that one to blend in. Aokat, thank you! You're kitchen is going to be spectacular. If I could have chosen any size, layout and style kitchen I wanted, I'd have plucked yours right off the page! I tried to remove the corbels myself this morning because I'm off from work. No luck. I'm baaaaaaack! Got sidetracked a bit being out of town and then came home and hubby had to be hospitalized with pneumonia. He's on the mend now. Sooooo, to all of you out there, speak now or forever just hold it! We are likely ordering tomorrow and this is the latest plan: We are going to go with a 16" inch overhang which is the shorter one in above pics...still not short, but shorter then 18. And I was sold on the clipped corners from the start, but now I don't think I'm going to do them. Interesting. We are going to have the corners just slightly rounded...there won't be a point. Guy asked if we wanted a dime size curve, or nickel, or coffee cup. Think the dime will be sufficient. We will also do the three inch overhang on the two sides. Top will likely be 2 and 1/2" thick end grain. That is the height you see in my pics with the 1/2" particleboard and the 2" sample board on top. And finish will be the permanent marine grade which I hear is Waterlox. That's all I can think of. If anyone has any comments, alternate ideas, or if you're just absolutely horrified, I would appreciate a shout out...sooner rather then later. Thanks, pup
