Paging Peytonroad....please help me once again....

Greetings Peytonroad....You answered a previous post of mine concerning Wilmington Tan and Decatur Buff. We are now happily painting our living/dining room with Decatur Buff (even tho you were partial to WT) and are now looking for a color for our master bath. You mentioned using Greenfield Pumpkin in your husband's office and I'm wondering if you could please post a photo along with feedback. Is it really orange? We've got dark green marble and oak flooring. I've been contemplating Richmond Gold and the Greenfield Pumpkin and don't want to make any mistakes. Thanks so much for any info you can give....

Hi there, So here are some pictures, I LOVE my GP, probably my favorite room in the house! It is more of a rich burnt carmel or dark butterscotch. Not orangey at all.I used the upgrade paint to get it in two coats only. I think it was the Aura base. Highly recommend it, it makes you want to lick the walls! I also did Georgian Brick in my dining room. The colors seem to flow... Hereis a photo of it with the WT over the arch. I also picked RG for my master bath! (Did I tell you that in another post!) once you are done, can you post your pics? I would love to see too!

Thanks Peytonroad....You've helped so much. I'm relatively new to posting here although I've lurked around for awhile. I have made a few posts commenting on other questions and asking a few of my own. Everyone has been so kind and I'm hope I'm not overlooking any etiquette in my posts. You do see many regular posters as well as folks asking for help.

Your home looks beautiful and it seems we're going along the same traditional historical color lines.

My first post was lamenting the fact we had just painted our entire living/dining/foyer with BM Honeymoon and it looked like a Barbie Dream House. We're just now in the middle of repainting the area with the Decatur Buff thanks to you and a few others. It seems wise to stick with BM's historical palette to avoid big bright mistakes!!

Today our painter suddenly asked for my color choice for the master bath which is why I quizzed you about the Greenfield Pumpkin. It does look gorgeous in your home. Our bath is open to the bedroom which has a floral wallpaper with a beige (boring) background, and our bed is done in golds and burgundy. I'm hoping the Greenfield Pumpkin will blend with the burgundy in the bedroom. I'm not looking for matchy matchy, just compatibility.

Again, your input is well-received and appreciated and, believe me, when we are finished with the living room, master bath, and powder room, I'll jump for joy and post some photos. It will be a relief to stop obsessing and dreaming of paint colors....Cheers

Ah-Ha! I have the same problem... I think the black one is more Halloween but the orange one is more eye catching. So, I put both the pictures on the site... Maybe it will be easier to chose - I am still unable to decide which one will remain on the site and which one will go to the trash can ;-) Is it easier for you? BTW, the subject of the offer is about to change and fit the book cover soon ;-) Thanks a lot :-)

The first thing I am going to suggest is wean your self off that awful aol you do not need it and will feel so free once you unburden your self from it. Especially with a nice new macbook to play with. You have a nice new mac and are loading it with aol which is from the time of dinosaurs in computer time. everything you do using aol you can do usually easier with out aol. are you certain you downloaded the appropriate version of aol for use with your mac? there are different versions. AOL Desktop this is a really old article I found but it shows a lot of the hookup info some may still apply, I don't know I would not put aol on anything I own. AOL in Mac you may want to try some of the dedicated mac forums online you can find some doing a google search.

I would start making a few phone calls to find out if there's any homeless shelters or women's shelters. I'm thinking you could call a clergy person or human services. Around here we have a woman's shelter that deals with not only abused women but women with addictions. There's also a few places that are halfway houses run by churches. The only reason I tell you this is so you can present other options. I can totally understand why you are worried about her. Both my DH and myself had brothers with chemical additions and both died last year. With my husband's brother, we gave him information on homeless shelters and rehab centers with openings. He did go to a treatment program and halfway house for about a year but he went back to drinking within 24 hours of release. I once again gave him the name and numbers. He even managed to get kicked out of a homeless shelter because of his drinking. My husband's parents kept letting him move in with them because they couldn't stand to see him suffer. You need to stay strong. You do not want to enable this behavior because it doesn't do any good. Contact Alanon or AA or some other mental health counselor. You really do need to have someone on your side and you need a shoulder to lean on. It's too late for our brothers but it's not too late for your daughter. Don't give up hope but don't enable.

this is a new remodel with spa addition, so I am new to the whole heater experience and otherwise, I know just enough to be dangerous at best. pump is 1 hp pentair challenger (9 mo's old) and filter is 1999 nautilus 36. old plumbing to pool is 1 1/2 and to new spa is 2 inch. We have kept this pump for now because was advised against 2 hp PB wanted to put in and trying to get a better feel if 1.5 hp will work or if need to go to vs pump. Actually this pump is giving us great circulation, and much stronger pressure from the spa jets than we expected. If/when we switch pumps, I believe we will need to upgrade filter, so if this one is shot or inadequate it won't be a huge deal. Don't know if pump size is affecting the heater. I'm thinking now that plumber may not have ran rinse cycle before he put it back into the regurlar mode after it ran in backwash. This mornng I backwashed again, (it looked normal) and then re added d/e. I didn't see any additional d/e in spa after this. The spa water is still cloudy, but hopefully will clear after it runs awhile. I guess my other questions are does 10 psi seem low? That is where it is running again this morning. Also does a LO error message on Hayward 400 indicate a low filter pressure? Is that the likely issue?
