we wanted to just say thank you for all your help!
Comments (0)You all helped us a great deal planning our modern farm house. We wanted to say thank you for all the help and show some photos of our 2 year adventure that we took with your help. We would be happy to answer any questions. I am sorry the photos are so poor - they are actually inventory photos! I will put a link in for all of them. Here are some things that we love about the place: 1. Hide a Hose central VAC. 2. Blum motorized cabinets. 3. Metal roof. 3. The plan that we developed with the architect. 4. Motorized coupla windows. 5. Liebherr full built in (what a pain and drama but we love it). 6. The kitchen island. 7. Serena Lutron automated shades. 8. Insteon lighting system. 9. ELK alarm and automation system. Geothermal heating and cooling. An awesome Morso fireplace. A toto Neorest. Any questions please let us know and THANK YOU AGAIN! Comments (2)Oh cool. I thought you were going to sell them. I had just posted on the other thread asking you about it. I love the one of your orchids. Mine are just loaded with flowers and buds right now. I think the flowers are the biggest they have ever been. One sent the flower stalk downward and I am trying to get it going back upwards. The drums are beautiful....See MoreThank you for the help, our deck is done!

Comments (15)Maybe he will! Sorry-- I don't always catch all the posts. :-) As for where the stone ties into the wood trim, that should be caulked with a siliconized latex caulk that matches the grout. A for the switchplates, palimpsest isn't kidding. the cheapest I've seen matching stone switch plates is about 75.00 a piece, and that's just for a single pole switch cover or plug cover. The prices go up from there. As for color, there are a couple of things you could do here, depending on your taste. You could go with plain plastic plates (my preference would be cream to blend in as best as possible to the tile), or you could go with paintable plates and paint them to match the wood trim. Or you could either go with wood or again painted plates (whichever is applicable) to match your cabinets. Those would be my choices....See Moreboxerpups
