The 'White kitchen that won't sell' finally SOLD!

Three and a half years later, we finally accepted an offer. It has truly been a long road.

Sales in my neighborhood remained slow throughout the duration of the ordeal, and showings were sporadic regardless of price. ( We would do rash price drops and showings would come to a dead halt for weeks.) The house was and still is immaculate. In February we emptied it and started showing it completely empty. Despite the brand new appliances which we finally put in this year (styrofoam blocks still in the fridge,) we continued to get comments like, "The kitchen needs too much work. The appliances will all need to be updated." $10,000, even $15,000 decorating/remodeling allowance did nothing to satisfy customers.

So here we are...done...it's over. And more than ready for my new kitchen. BTW ever since visiting Buck's County this summer, all my DH can talk about is the Franklin edge, so I think we're going to have Two TKOers in our house. I'm ready to move from dreaming to building.

Thank you all for being supportive as I've redefined "patience."
