Terryster-thank you for your post. I feel like an idiot for asking dumb questions. However you all have been so nice and helpful. I too am growing for a living so I guess that's why I have been nervous. My plants are looking really good right now. So I'm feeling pretty positive about it all. I was worried about spreading fungus and growing disease. However the humidity has been low during the days now. My greenhouse is 16x36. My exhaust fan is about 48" and the same with the vent. It's a rainbow gutter connect greenhouse. I'm only using half of it for the greenhouse and the other 16x36 for a shade house. I have two good sized(not sure of size)fans mounted up high for circulating. We bought everything except the heaters used. So all the fans were less than 200 dollars. I think I was too dumb not to realize how fast it would warm up in the winter. I guess because the first few days I was struggling to get the temps past 50. However,it was only 8 outside then. So when I didn't have to use the heaters I was like wow! lol I have roses,clematis and several other perennials in large pots on benches. Then I have one long bench with my trials on starting seeds(hoping I can do fine,but ordered plants so I would know I have some to sell if not). The other day my soil temp were 89 was when the temp rose over 100. Now I see what your saying,because when it's 80 inside the soil temps are about 50-60 now. I now have the exhaust hooked up to kick on with the thermostat. It has made a big difference.

Yaya, I don't get what you're saying. Close this thread. Look at the list of all the threads, at the top right. Click on "Gallery." A new page will come up which is our gallery. Now look at all the titles of the threads. Scroll down to the one that says "Show me your cottage decor"... or do a "find" on "cottage." There it is. Here's a link, but I wanted to tell everyone how so they'll always be able to do it for themselves, ya know? And I think ;you should also look in the living room, and dining room, and bedroom threads to see if you can find colored trim... but there seriously aren't many pictures out there. It appears to be a carpenter's mistake since the intention of the design is clearly stated on the drawings. Perhaps the windows were installed before the door arrived. IMHO there is no reason to replace anything other than the narrow "picture frame" molding; it's really out of place here. Option A (cheapest) Raise the door head trim and find a way to fill the resulting gap. I would also fill the gap between the door and window jamb trims because these narrow strips of wall look amateurish to me. Option B (best) Use 3/8" or 1/2" flat trim that spans from opening to opening, then add a decorative band molding around the outer perimeter of the entire assembly. The flat part of the trim would be a bit larger at the door head but it would look fine since it's at a door not a window. If the carpenter is good he could add a cove, bevel or bead at the inner edges. That is the way triple openings have been detailed for hundreds of years so I'm surprised the architects or the builder didn't suggest it.

There are people who can see a quirk/small mistake and not worry about it again. Others cannot forget those circumstances and get upset every time they see them. Some folks want perfection at any cost.(Fine if they can afford it!). I was talking to a banker earlier to day, noticing all the mistakes in the flooring of the bank. Huge errors to me, he has worked at that desk for several years and never noticed any of the problems---until I pointed them out. As I was leaving, he remarked now that he saw the mistakes, he was going to tell the boss and try to get them fixed. Sophie is correct. Some folks can live with that situation without a second thought.
