bronze or black windows....

I seem to be having a brain freeze. I am trying to make selections and for some reason I cannot make a choice without changing my mind 2 minutes later. I just just 4 hours choosing plumbing fixtures!!!

Anyway, help me decide my exterior cladding color: bronze or black. I think probably either will look fine and I should move on to something else. Our exterior is going to be a reddish/brown brick with whitewash like these:

I would go bronze. Not as harsh as black. What will the insides look like? Keep in mind that if you want to use white or off white blinds or shutters on the inside, that they will look funny with the darker windows from the outside (or inside).

I lean toward bronze.

I'm kind of browned off on Pella owing to their absolute disaster of customer support and the fact that they won't stand by their licensed local distributors that they insist you deal with on the higher end stuff. I've had little problem with Anderson.

Your builder's statement isn't accurate. The colors are separate offerings so look at the windows before signing off on the order. I have bronze. I wanted dark frames inside and out but black would be too harsh with the existing brick, that already has bronze coloration.

I have Anderson 400 black/black and love them! What a difference during this summer compared to previous ones, a room that was always too hot was perfect all summer long! They are also a huge improvement from hearing dogs barking, cars driving by etc...and look fantastic! Your selection probably depends on your climate and your budget :)

Every stone or brick house I see in my area that has black windows makes me stop dead in my tracks - it's a classic, stunning look.
