How would you group these 3 pieces...

... or would you not at all.

This photo shows how they were hung, badly, before the room was recently repainted to Providence Olive (this was a wallpapered accent wall.)

I think the two gilt whatchamacallits were too far away from the picture and the spacing needs to be tighter, but should they be staggered like that again? Directly centered over each other? Either way, is there a rule of thumb for spacing, e.g., if they're centered, then should the center line be a certain distance, percentage-wise, away from the vertical edge of the frame? Should the top of the vase on the top shelf and the lowest edge of the lower shelf extend above/below the horizontal edges of the frame, or stay within that boundary?

Or do these 3 items just look like crap together? It's OK, I can take it. LOL.

I have blocked it out on the floor a thousand times and think I get it settled, but come time to drive the nails, I panic.
