Oh I like the long ones shown in Segbrown's kitchen. Sabjimata, if the ones you are looking at from RH are like those, I think they would work nicely for one pull on the large drawers. However, I would go with something different (like a knob) on the small drawers or the two different bin pulls might get a little busy. Just my opinion. :) We actually have two bin pulls on our large drawers, but the glides are so nice that I could see how they would easily open with just one in the middle. Good luck!

I will second what pussuskattus suggested...although it is definitely more work/time, we found that it was very worthwhile to mock up the drawers and try out our handles that way. We ordered various sample sizes of our handles and DH cut some scrap wood planks in the lengths of our drawers. We then just placed the handles on each board and it was VERY quick and easy to determine which size to go with. It was surprising what we found...definitely some different outcomes than what we had thought before mocking up. There would be no need to cut wood, though...could easily just use posterboard or scrap cardboard from a shipping box. And the ribbon idea would be easy, too. Would save the step of buying the pulls if you don't know for sure yet what you want. Good idea for next time! Good luck with your search on the vintage pulls!

Hi Athome! Sounds like you are progressing towards a good plan. I asked a similar question when deciding on my 38"ish wide drawer stacks. Answers were slightly divided on whether they are usable or not. I did the drawers as planned and don't find them too wide. Yes, they are definitely large, but not a problem for usability. They look proportional in my space. I also have a 36" stack under my rangetop. I'm so glad I went wide. One thing you might want to think about is how you will outfit wide drawers with pulls. Will you use two small pulls? One large pull? Larger pulls can be harder to find and be more expensive. I prefer the look of one longer pull instead of two smaller ones. Having these wide drawers and some that are much narrower, I had a hard time finding pulls that came in multiple sizes to fit each drawer size in a style and finish I liked. Yes, go with one centered pull. You don't want to be forced into a situation where you can only open the drawers with two hands (who ever has TWO free hands?!) or the drawer/glides will just end up ruined. Amerock has a lot of other cabinet pulls (did you consider appliance pulls?) that are beautiful.
