I have Wedgewood Gray in my bedroom, it is more of a blue with gray tones. I picked it 4 years ago when I saw it in a PB magazine room. I don't have any pics at the moment, if you'd like one, I can post but the room is really very unfinished.

Well blues are cool colors so a "warm" blue gray isn't easy to find. But some of my favorites are Quiet Moments, Wales Gray, Pale Smoke, and Sterling. Maybe Gentle Gray, too.

I painted my kitchen in BM sidewalk gray. I is what I would call a medium light gray that has blue undertones. In daylight it looks more gray, but in the evening it looks more blue. I did not notice the blue in it until the kitchen was done. The sample I painted on the wall did not show it. Now I know to paint a much bigger test area!!! Lighting in your room makes a huge difference in how it will look once painted.

I have BM's revere pewter in my office. It doesn't look like it has any blue on the chip, but I tried a sample in the kitchen, where it looks very blue-gray, and it has a slight blue cast in my office too. Depends on the light, probably? There's nothing girly about it, so I think it would be quite appropriate for a boy's bedroom.

Wickham gray is also lovely. It's on the cooler side, but there's no purple in it at all (at least not to my eye). I really like it in rooms where there isn't a lot of natural light.

Also, take a look at abalone or silver fox. I haven't painted these colours in any rooms myself, but I've seen pictures and they seem like they might do the trick.

SW Silvermist is what I have in my boys bath. My preteen son picked it.

I was going to suggest Ben Moore Iced Cube Silver, but maybe not for a teenage boy...

I also think Wickham Gray would be worth checking out along with Stonington Gray...

Thanks so much. Lots of great ideas to get started. Since the floor is white tile I wanted a warm gray/blue to avoid the room feeling cold.

Late to the party, but just wanted to add my $0.02. We put BM's Iced Cube Silver in our bedroom on the recommendation of posters in other forums and while it is a gorgeous colour, it is certainly not warm ("iced cube" should give that away there...). It does have blue undertones which ironically I really didn't want for our bedroom, but oh well. I do like it though because it seems to change with the daylight so it's a bit complex as a colour.

BM Coventry gray or stonington gray.

Teen boys seem to like darker colors -- would you consider going as dark as Oxford Gray -- kind of a French blue gone grayer?
