First room is easy. Put a pressure rod between the sashes and hang a sheer fabric in white. You could get away with something simple but I think if you really want to dress it up go with nice lace sheers. THEN go floor to ceiling drapes using one long rod over both windows. Treat it as one window.
Use a pewter colored rod to pick up the color in the hanging lamp. To make it easy to slide the drapes open and close and give it a bit of mod use pewter rings. Something in a silk would be outstanding.The bulk of the fabric should hang in between the windows.

The sitting room I'd do pretty much the same thing as the dining room.

room three I like the idea of either bamboo or Roman shades.

I'm with carol on using drapes in the dining room, on a long rod. The wood work in your DR is gorgeous so you'll want something really nice; perhaps a metal rod in the same finish as the chandelier, with interesting finials, substantial, not too skinny.

I'd look for a drape panel in a nice fabric like silk or raw silk, lined if possible for fullness. Do you sew? If so, you can probably make something more unique and interesting than what you'd find off the rack.

Your hutch is nice. Rather than removing it, if you don't like displaying dishes have you considered replacing the glass with more obscure or textured glass? I put a link below. We have seeded glass in some cabinets; it doesn't hide the dishes but does obscure them a bit and adds some interest.

Or a less expensive option is to install tiny curtain rods at the top and bottom inside each door, and add some gathered fabric panels. The panels could be anything...sheers, matching your new drapes, etc. I can't tell what the hardware is, but you could update that too to coordinate with a new curtain rod.

The dining room: Love the wall color, and I know you donâÂÂt want to hear this, but I love the color of the furniture. I think you could have an elegant, almost Gustavian look going on in there. I would change out the hardware to something in a brushed nickel finish. Love the chandy.

I would want drapery panels in here, and would treat each window separately. Something like this might work, and would pair the rich wall color with the lighter finished furniture:

Try the trio of vases you have on the window seat in the FR as a centerpiece grouping on the DR table if you go with these fabrics.

If you donâÂÂt want to use the cabinets for showing dishes, you could get some of the window wallpaper in a simple frost and cover the glass.

Gathered sheer fabric is an alternative, but I am not sure that works with the style of the furniture.

Or, take the cabinet out completely and use it in the sitting room as a bookcase. Replace it in the DR with another side piece, perhaps a solid wood piece in the finish color of the tabletop. I will say, tho, that I like the cabinet in the DR in part because it balances the height of the windows.

For the sitting room, it is hard to say because we donâÂÂt know what the furniture or flooring will be like. But I would again think about panels, perhaps something in a textured linen or chenille, for a more casual and cozy feel.

For the FR, I would like to see woven wood blinds or regular wood blinds to bring the floor color up to the window level. You could add fabric valances above the windows for some softness and color, and do matching or coordinating cushions on the window seats, and pillows for the sectional.
