i have seen delicatus with white cabinet with chocolate glaze on them and java stained island...absolutely amazing!! i think it will look wonderful with cream cabinets as well..the granite is so beautiful it can pull off cream, white, or java cabinets easily..

First off, I was told by a designer that only marble is white. I think that although the granite looks white it is off white or cream tones. White, creams and off whites all blend especially when you transition with the backsplash.

Delicatus white is beautiful. Do you have a sample cream door you could hold up to the slab? Or vice versa, a DW sample to hold up next to a display of your cream cab?

I took a picture of it with my cream cabinet and my java cabinet at the granite place. The lighting wasn't so great in there.

The picture cam into my head of milk we used to get in the pre-homogenised time or that you see on the farm
The milky white with the creamy colour of the cream floating on the top

also if it is all white then a) it would never be the same white and b) you need a different colour for the different texture

Chitown, I just did this combo...white perimeter (creamy white) with a dark brown island. Long story, but I am so happy we ended up going with the DW. Its beautiful and has so many cool elements. Have you seen my pics? I feel like i post them all the time and everyone is probably so tired of seeing them. If you haven't seen it yet, I'll repost. let me know.

Briana--so NOT tired!

Honesty time, in that pic on my monitor, the cab looks too creamy. Almost to being yellow. I've had some white/cream issues right now so feel free to ignore me. Plus, the cabs will be vertical and granite will be horizontal, and that effects the color play also. It certainly wont look wrong with that cab.

I'm assuming these are not custom cabs so you are limited to that cream choice and one stark white?

That cream cabinet is the only option. Or I can go with stark white. I can switch to a different cabinet line that has different variations of white. I haven't bought anything yet so I'm not locked in. I liked this style cabinet and this line a lot.

I love mixing creams and whites. But ideally I would have the white cabinets with cream granite. Not the other way around!

The cabinet is definitely not yellow. I brought it home and put it under sunlight, artificial light and next to my stark white trim. I was really making sure it wasn't yellow.

I don't mind taking my time with this because it is a big decision. I just wish it were just a little bit easier. Thanks for all your help!

Here are some additional photos. I have better ones that I can upload tomorrow as well. My cabinets are not so creamy that they are yellowy. The perimeter cabinets are just one shade off-white by Brookhaven ( they are antique white).

To my eye (and monitor), Briana's cabs seem less creamy. Or, it could be her DW is a little more off white than chitown's slab. In any case, I think the DW works for Briana but less so for chi-town.... I'd switch to a white cab if it were my kitchen... The java looks really good with it, if that helps.

Just needing to ask the questioin shows that chi-town has a feeling about it being a little off IRL.

Dianalo is right...My cabinets are barely creamy and it looks like your cabinets are more creamy. Had I known that I would have switched granites at the last minute, I might have ordered a brighter white but my cabinets are barely off white. I also think your DW might be a little less chunky and a little more white-gray. The cabinets don't have to be super white/bright white, but maybe they could be less cream? The espresso colored cabinets look great.
