DIY Concrete Counters in old house - what about backsplash?

Hi! Question about new concrete countertops in old (early 1940s) kitchen renovation: What the heck do I do on the backsplash?? The countertops look like they are going to turn out quite nicely, but there is a need to cover a few spaces in the back with a backsplash. I am not a fan of tee-tiny glass mosaics - too busy for my liking - but find white 3x6 subway far too boring. Does anyone have any feedback? The kitchen is white, concrete counters are natural grey (no added pigment or stain), the kitchen does have a small amount of exposed brick and I guess the overall look I am going for is "Modern Organic with a vintage flair" Oh my! Does this style even exist??? Your help is greatly appreciated!
