I'm putting in creamy white cabinets and I've chosen Kashmir Gold granite. I would say it's a medium to light color. It depends on the look you want. I've seen some beautiful cream kitchens with very busy/bold granite and it looks great. Black granite also looks great. There are a lot of great granites to choose from. Good luck! I don't know if there is any wrong choice. JMHO

I think either would look beautiful. I have Yellow River which has a lot of the same colors as the gold-silver granite. I chose natural maple for mine and it goes great. Glad has the same stone but with cream cabs. It is gorgeous! I love the look. Let us know which one you choose. Both are very pretty!

Here's my Gold and Silver granite on my cream island:

We have Gold and Silver on Cherry/Ginger Glaze and picked it because it was lighter, but to me it's very pretty, but too light. I'd go with a darker but similar, like Yellow River/Rain, etc. as suggested above but it really depends on the slabs picked as everyone can be so different.

I'm getting quoted 17.00 per gold-silver polished slab. It was listed at 25.00' but i asked for a contractors discount and *magic* it was cut by 8.00 per sq-foot.+

Also, What do you think about flooring? I have tiger wood in the rest of the house and thought about bringing it into the kitchen.. Would the dark tiger wood w/ the cream cabinets and gold-silver work?

Hello all.. I selected Gold/Silver granite and just love it - was installed on Sat :--)!!! See the pics. It's coming together slowly but surely. I will send a full start to finish once it's completed.
