So funny - I was just thinking about this. I use the foaming soap too, so the standard soap dispenser won't work for me either. And, unfortunately, I haven't found any wonderful looking decorative ones nor a dispenser that can be mounted like the standard ones. Although I've managed to get a Bath & Body metal cover that goes over their antibac foaming hand soap to make it look a little better...of course, I don't really use antibac most of the time AND the cover is shiny rather than "stainless" style. But, so far, I haven't found anything, so I'm curious to see if someone else has.

BTW, a bit off-topic, but did you know you can make your own refills for a fraction of what it costs to purchase it in-store? I just reuse my B&BW container and use 1 part of regular hand soap to about 4-5 parts of water, shake it up and it's ready to use.

I guess I'll stick with my original plan of only one hole in the granite for the faucet and have something else for soap. I saw one online at Bed, Bath and Beyond that is satin nickle but it got bad reviews - rusts easily.

In my experience, the foaming dispensers are notorious for breaking after a few refills (especially if you mix your own soap and water...if the soap doesn't stay in suspension, it'll be too thick and clog the dispenser)...so, I personally wouldn't trust one enough to put a permanent hole in my granite for it.

Keep looking for a great counter top dispenser...they're bound to be out there!

sloneby - It hasn't been my experience that the dispensers have broken. My current dispenser is a multiply-resused/recycled Bath and Body one and I've been using the same one where I've refilled it for over two years now. The one in the bath has been at use longer than that and is used much more than the one in the kitchen.

It's been my experience that the soap doesn't separate out at all - it stays and even dilution without a problem. It may be worth noting that I don't use an anti-bac soap with the little beads nor do I use a creamy based liquid to make my dilution. The one I've been using the most often has been Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap (Pure Castile Soap with organic oils). It's avaiable scented or unscented (then you can add your own essential oils if you prefer). I've also used other soaps as well when I was out of Dr. Bronner's and needed to mix up a batch.

Every once in a while, I need to rinse off the nozzle if it starts to clog up a bit, but I would say that happens maybe once in between a refill, if even that much.

In the meantime, I bought one of these. Unfortunately, it's not satin nickle, but it works okay. I get one that matches the color of the room the best and then just use the sleeve over it. Not perfect, but better. I've been thinking of checking into getting some spray paint to see if I can paint over it in a satin finish.

I didn't think about using Bronners soap...it would dispense better. I think I was using a antibacterial when mine kept clogging. I just know the soap was thick and would settle even after I shook it up alot. I think Dr. Bronners is thinner and mixes better. Thanks for the tip!
