Finishing naked end run of cabs - please vote

As a cost saving measure, I told my KD to eliminate a nice end panel on the end runs of cabinets. I'm now reconsidering and thinking about having her order beadboard panels for the lower cabs to match the trim above the hood (which is supposed to be installed today...yeah right). What do you think?

Here are my thoughts: I wanted some but not too much beadboard. You can see a nice beadboard end panel on the island, and the beadboard above the (so far imaginary) hood/range. The two ends (foreground of pix) are very prominent in real life, as they are open to the FR. The upper cabs are finished with little angled whatnot shelves, but the lowers are plain, and they seem naked.

As always, please ignore the construction/temp kitchen unsightly mess.
